@@kaoticghost-whitererun7539 have you played endgame encounters. no offense but especially after the well nerf this is flat-out not true. broodweaver has some of the best ad control in the game with infinite suspending and it is the highest dps warlock super (discounting nova bomb just because it benefits from the seasonal artifact). ever since strandlock came out it has been the second most prominent subclass in endgame encounters where you didn't need to stack more than 1 or 2 wells.
Except nobody lets warlocks run anything but well in any activity 🤣

Just play a corner and they literally can't kill you, it's a charge time plus needing to hit 2 headshots and a body after the charge. If you're near any wall you don't die lmao

@@nell9956- Seriously, I did Deep Stone Crypt on 3 characters every week for months, trying to get the Eyes of Tomorrow exotic rocket launcher. Took me like 74 runs to get it. By the time it finally dropped for me, the damn thing had been nerfed into the ground, and was only good inside of Gambit. 😩 lmao But I don't think I could go through all that to get this weapon, if it came down to it. I don't want it bad enough tbh, and plus... that raid looks punishing as hell. I feel for Sherpas, clan leaders, and long time raiders, cuz they're gonna have their hands full.

Ngl rick for the hardest raid on destiny's history an exotic that just spawns tredlings seems kinda lacking, it could definitely do more like multi-elements or the tredlings do freeze damage, something really crazy...

@@sol7107 That wasn't his point, he is saying for the hardest content the game that has ever released which doubles as a finale to the main saga destiny set up, this exotic doesn't stand out as all that fun to look at or use. Looking for the highest damage is fine and all if all you care about is optimizing, but I would have liked it if the the exotic raid weapon that drops from the witness to be more cool and adjacent to his powers instead of just strand.
You realize there's gonna be triumphs available that are gonna give you an extra trait right? Not even in it's final form

My tireless puts up 2x the numbers of this exotic tht only has a small CHANCE to drop in 5he HARDEST raid in destiny ever. It's literally fucking hatchling. I have a rapid fire gl with hatchling that's a legendary that puts up pretty much the same numbers. Bungo really fucked up with this gun, as hard as it is to get

Give it a little bit of time so that more peeps in the community learn the mechanics, etc... and then try it out using lfg if you have to. 9x out of 10, it's NOT the negative experience that a lot of folks make it out to be, it's just that people tend to focus on that 1 bad time, and forget all of the times they used lfg & it turned out great. 😅 lol

I think of the raid exotics this one is only second to conditional finality. You can get some serious DPS with this thing especially since it's a special. The fact that you can run this as a DPS weapon as well as a heavy for DPS (or ad-clear) is criminally underrated by the general D2 community.

@@TheCyanHawk.the colorblind settings that people use will turn the radar yellow instead of its usual red. red is a very common color in destiny, as opposed to yellow which is rarely ever seen.
So between this and still hunt, did Titans get an exotic with this much synergy? And I just missed it?
If you think i'm wrong first think about a special Exotic weapon then think about the way the titan can enhance it

@@orangejuice1418 Yea sure, but we don’t have a specific exotic for our class. We buff all rockets. Hunter got their Celestial Nighthawk Sniper and can’t be used for Titan. Warlock got the threadling build for the new raid linear fusion. Basically these exotics shine in their classes, but titans do not have a specific weapon that can be used by titan builds for the most part.
Ok so i have it and did some dps phases with friends on the witness and i can say on strand warlock with apotheosis veil, only the hunter nighthawk build can beat it. Every dmg phase i was hitting 3.3mil+. And sleeper hit 2.3mil and rocket izzi was doing 2.5mil (these are rough numbers because skill is always at play, but there is no chance that anything beats it out unless its hunter gg build) Celestial was doing around 3.7mil consistently
Absolutely wild on warlock strand considering it will also maybe get another perk (if its not a bug) and also ITS A SPECIAL so u can use a MG for ads and stuff
Also keep in mind we had no debuff or well(buff). Just surges and the weapons
warlocks got a crazy linear to synergize with broodweaver, hunters got a crazy sniper to synergize with gunslinger, now bungie needs to show titans some love (coming from a warlock)

It’s sad how still hunt has overshadowed all DPS options. Not really an enjoyable sandbox for non-hunters to feel like a bad dps choice.
I think devs wanted at least one win for hunters for an expansion drop. Do to warlock and titans always seeing the meta in raids. Abit went bit overkill with this one though
@@jtwhat3004 bro Well has been necessary for ages. And Titans haven’t been dps meta for raids in a long time. I know Warlocks view Well being good as a bad thing now. But their class was needed and strong.
Also, making a gun that synergies with one class, but not giving the other classes that treatment is weird. If Titans got that I bet Hunters and Warlocks would have raged.
@pnutbteronbwlz9799 well is not necessary it just made life easer do to it blocking alot of mechanics. Well became the status quo for that reason.
The new raid exotic also synergies with warlocks, so we might get one that goes well with Titans. My point of view it's kind of like when d1 during the taken king had the class specific exotics but these can be used by all classes. Without a doubt this gun will be nerfed most likely requiring more orbs or precision shots.
They don't stack with other's threadings. Mid exotic for everyone except thread lock
Exactly everyone is saying this gun is OP and it will be on only one character and like 1 or 2 builds and won’t mean anything when they nerf threadlings after them saying how OP it is plus who’s gonna let a strand lock on there raid team or grandmasters it’s op in normal content prolly super mid in hard content

@@KabbalahSherryyeah I think people are overlooking its potential, it’s in the kinetic slot and does damage of heavy weapons, letting you run something like a LMG and rocket pistol and still have great ammo economy and ad clear whole retaining damage
Prismatic warlock. Where you spawn threadlings from pheonix dive. If you use that and either pop transcendence or song of flame you can shoot. Pheonix dive. Shoot. Pheonix dive. And spawn a ton very quickly. Definitely would use this more as a secondary damage and ad clearing weapon. Very good overall damage and good dps If you run out of heavy.cant wait to run through the raid. Got through a couple encounters in contest but never finished.

Warlocks can build stacks fast as hell using weave walk and weavers call! It also stacks to 25 with some insane dmg for a special weapon!
The ridiculous amounts of rage quits on this damn thing... there will be no fireteam finder for this.

Bungie could really go either way with this raid exotic. They could make it absolutely broken because of the hardest raid. Or making it mediocre because it’s the hardest raid and only a few people have access to it.

This exotic shoulda used the turrets or whatever the scorn uses to put fire stasis or void on u
so, spindle can stack to x25, meaning it gets a 50% buff at max strength
this can be paired with apotheosis on strand (not prismatic, we want to use thread of evolution) warlock with threadling grenades to near instantly hit x25, thus doing slightly more dps than celestial still hunt spam

Has no one noticed he maxed the stacks at 25? Like while doing the nightmares the gameplay shows 25..? Also it dosent seem as limited as outbreak. Outbreak dmg bonus only applies to whatever the nanites stick to. But in the gameplay the threadlings were killing red bar thralls and counting for stacks. So the versatility of the exotoc is pretty high.
Still Hunt is ridiculous, I like it, but it makes my big incendiary booming impossible since I don't have a 1st slot incendiary weapon (ideally hand cannon.)

Bungie used all there energy making prismatic and ran out of juice lmao, first they made an exotic class item quest that can only be done with two players not three or a solo player so rip to us, then they made it basically a raid with a timer at that... then now they have an exotic that's perk is literally just renamed hatchling , I have the same perk as this on most my strand weapons lmao ridiculous
Not to be a hater sense haven’t even done raid yet- still kinda pissed that the 48 wasn’t offered to LFG at all don’t get that 1- but this weapon seems underwhelming for Destinys hardest raid!
Still Hunt is better for hunter with Celestial. Euphony is better on the other classes…. Especially warlock with weavers call

Not sure if it's the best Raid Weapon in the game but it's pretty darn sick!
Unfortunately i think it’s got enough potential to make even me grind for it…it has a chance to get more perks when it drops and it has heavy dmg type dmg with threadling synergy…it looks bad on paper but it puts out crazy dmg already at 10x up to 25x

hey kackis, im pretty sure that the spindle stacks go all the way up to x25, being a 50% damage bonus (only works with own threadlings)

Wondering if kackis watched his own video..the answer is at 5:46 (a maximum of x25 for spindle)..
I’m wondering if running grapples on a warlock to spam spawn threadlings off a anchor for max stacks would be valid, if you’re fast you can get all 8 melees in in under 10 seconds for the max buff solo, it’d especially good if other people can proc it, just imagine 3 warlocks all grapple melee at the same time it’s already at 9x, as long as there’s a strand hunter or navigator it’s near infinite upkeep
He is talking about warlock rift but what about the super isnt that something like 20 threadlings plus consuming ur grenade for perched threadlings and the rift
Witness is actually one of the easiest bosses i’ve ever fought in a raid, went in to see how the rat king ornament helmet worked(disclaimer it doesn’t or severely underwhelming and not like it says) and came out an hour later knowing what to do
not gonna lie Quicksilver storm with strand is currently my favorite weapon in destiny 2. its gonna be hard for me to use another exotic weapon xd
Also, didn’t know if anybody noticed, but there is a triumph that helps for the drops of additional perks on this exotic in the triumphs page of the raid once you have every weapon crafted, do we know what that means at all?
