Finally managed to try Custom Games out on my Xbox One X here. Found out the even if the AI Bot counter goes up to 8, I was able to do up to 4v4 when playing solo. And up to 5v5 when playing in 2-Player Split Screen. When I played Solo, the setup didn't worked out when I placed myself on the Eagle Team. Thing worked out fine when I choose Cobra Team. The Bots turned out to be pretty savage. So far we felt comfortable with the Marine Bots. Although I'm thinking we can go up against ODST Bots when in 2-Player Co-op and have a 50/50 chance.
We only have two controllers. Although we know someone who can bring more. It is only recently (post launch) that I began to see articles pointing out the Xbox One having only 2-Player support. I'm assuming the One X is included there, since it's not being grouped with the Xbox Series.

I think everyone should take note of the fact that if you can glitch splitscreen in the game and it works with no issues, it means all the work is already done. They literally said no to splitscreen that has already been coded. These soulless corporate suits literally just didn't want to make it accessible. What does that tell you about 343?

I've been following the news regarding Split Screen on Halo Infinite since day one, and none of them ever said anything about the number of supported players being different between Last Gen and Current Gen. They all just said that one can have up to 4 players. As a result, I always thought I was going to get 4-Player on my Xbox One X. It is now that I'm finding out at the last moment, when I already got the game, that I'm limited to 2. So I'm thinking now, it's quite possible then, that when the Campaign Split Screen Co-op finally comes out, is going to be for Current Gen only. To clarify, I'm talking about Local Multiplayer. And I never expected 4-Player on the larger BTB. Only on the smaller Arena.
