Dang, this video is almost a year older than I am, and my family and I go to Kings Island every few weeks or so every summer. Diamondback is honestly the most relaxing ride there, so much floater-airtime. Thanks for sharing the vid!
Did you wait in it yourself? The highest I heard was 3 hours, and based off Diamondback's extremely high capacity, I doubt it was anymore than that. 7-8 hours would be much longer a line.
Diamondback is entering its 15th anniversary, so maybe the next time I go to KI in April, I can start at the queue where it started in the video and walk it, all the way to the entrance of diamondback, just to see how long of a wait it was.
Who is? Cause I didn't wait in that monster. I rode three times- 1. First Rider Auction, 5 minute wait 2. Right after auction, 0 minute wait 3. Night-time, 45 minute wait
I just went yesterday and we went later in the evening. If you are staying at KI for the entire day go for the big coasters early early early in the day when the park is just opening for the day. We made the mistake of getting in line and waiting almost 2 hours.
@shadowforce9 You fail... the ride is closer to 2:30 minutes, it's only 32 people per train, and you need to factor in loading when doing said math. The official website puts it at 1,620 riders per an hour.

I've been queueing for Hyper Twister Coaster 1 for ages.
I’m afraid to say it but I think I’m the only one who gets the reference 😂

Wow, that is super impressive. The line is absolutely bonkers looking. B&M does not screw around.
I did not wait in it myself, but I heard from others it was between two-and-a-half and three hours.
