Marty, thank you for sharing your gifts with the world. My form has been improving in the past two weeks since finding your videos. Thank you. 🔥👍🏼 This video. 💯
Great lesson. I love the idea of a proper turn using the golf club in between the legs. I have an impact snap (Clay Ballard) and have been using it to eliminate flipping. I listen got th "Snap" after my hands pass the ball position. Keep em coming Marty.
Hi Marty, really enjoy all of your videos. I purchased the Impact Snap after watching you work with Eric Cogorno. Any chance you give lessons in Manhattan? Turning Stone is too far a drive unfortunately.
No problem, thx for the reply. I’ll keep on the lookout should that happen. I find you and Eric very informative on the golf swing. Keep up the great work!
Jeronimo, thank you for your comment. Take a look at the following video for an explanation. Thank you Marty- IMPACTSNAP ruclips.net/video/zdhbpkdC4s0/видео.html
Nice lesson. Am I right in saying that the trail foot will lose a certain amount of traction when the trail heel leaves the ground? As a rule of thumb when should that happen?
Love how the upward punch makes the whole lower body move natural. You always talk about the forearms being close at impact but do you feel the forearms close together on backswing and the downswing?
Dennis Zimmerman thank you for the comment. The firearms are relatively close on the take away for a full swing. They are close just after impact and closest in follow through when both arms are straight.
GALA Tolik yes. SandT is based on the golfing machine. Likely the easiest way to get the masses to play better golf. Flying wedge is a GM term by Homer Kelly. An angle between each arm and the shaft. Perhaps another video is in order. Thank you. Marty
Interesting lession. What would be cool, is to see these moves from the camera angle of the players eyes. Here is why... When I do the first session, with the impact snap, where I roll the wrists down (ie to get back of left hand to ground, it is like I am aiming my hands toward the ball, and when it gets there, then I do the snap. So in this case, the hands feel the hands are at their lowest point when near the ball (from player view, and too low, if the club were pointed at the ball, but it's not yet), but then the butt end of the club works in and up. But when I do the half way back exercises, whith relaxed wrists, I feel like I'm coming in on a lower plane (address club plane), from the vantage point of my eyes (it doesn't look like my hands are going at the ball and then snapping, still there is some forward shaft lean). This feels easier to do, and to make solid contact, but I don't feel like I'm able to get the club on this path during a full swing, but more like in the first session where it needs to be snapped. Is that correct? Then during a full swing, if I forget to snap hard enough, it seems like it's easier to get a shank.
Great teaching. Think however thes student is not yet ready (not fulll enough engaged in the swing intracacies at the moment) to take full advantage of what you are teaching but he is learning. Great stuff.
I understand your position but I think you and your viewers would be better served by having a shorter video (or two or three) focusing on one swing thought per video
@@charliegould2087 I disagree. The main swing thought was correct rotation. The proper move is not easy otherwise everyone would be a great golfer, which we know is clearly not the case. Focusing on the details is very important to ensure that we are doing the move correctly and not wasting our time, or worse still, ingraining bad habits. Be wary of instructional videos with quick tips. Trying to learn golf this way will lead to very little improvement. From experience I can tell you that you need to focus on what is important for your specific swing and do not lose sight of this goal. For most golfers, myself included, this proper rotational move (with correct hand/arm motion) is pivotal (excuse the pun).
What a wonderful teacher you are and great product, I am left handed, like the new added club face extension
Ron
Keep me posted on your progress. Marty- IMPACTSNAP
Unfortunately I don't think they make it in a left-handed version! Unless that has changed.
Great refresher, Marty!
Great lesson Marty!
Glad you liked it! Marty- impactsnap

Too cold to go out and hit balls, however, I can do this drill several times a day in doors! Thanks Marty!

This is a great lesson

Horseshit this is
Great practice lesson. Love the feeling with the club between the knees
Great video Marty
Nice explanation as to how the legs and knees load properly in the swing
If you can teach "Jack" to turn & push, you can teach anybody.
Hi Marty! Does impact snap make a left-handed version of the club head extension yet?

Stefan. Turning Stone is it. Eric and I might do a school or 2 in Bethlehem this summer.

Wow. Like this
Can you do slow motion on how do the wrists release from the top of the backswing to past impact? Thanks

Forrest Gardener , max pressure occurs when the heel lifts. Pressure on both feet as the pelvis is turning. This allows for the push off.

IMPACT SNAP so its not like squeezing a Tourstriker ball with your forearms throughout the bswing and downswing?
Dennis Zimmerman that is a good feeling. I like it and use it the tool.
Might make a good video subject!
Is it flying wedge still effective if my downswing style is SnT? Thnks

Agree. Seems like a lot of info that might be hard to absorb at his stage. But having a video to review will be a big help.
🤯
a 10 minute video is way too long
charlie gould , the lesson was 45 minutes which was still too short to accomplish what was needed. We tried to take the major points.
