Fun fact: The movie was actually filmed in July of '84 although not released until '87. I know because when I first moved to Los Angeles my apartment was at the Orange Towers right above the famous Chinese Theater. They transformed Hollywood Boulevard by adding Christmas decorations. After the second day of shooting I was able to approach Mel Gibson and I got his full attention after security tried to stop me. Right after he noticed he said, "Hey stop, let him through". I was in awe of how nice he was. He asked me for my address and about a couple of weeks later I received a signed photo of him dedicated to me. It was one of the best moments of my life. I will be 60 next year, was just 23 when it happened and will never forget it, especially how nice he was to me.

Also the “credits” songs: “Lethal Weapon” from the first movie sucks, but 2 had “Cheer Down” by George Harrison, and 3 had “Runaway Train” by Elton John *and* “It’s Probably Me” by Sting (both featuring Clapton).

You even beat out all the crazy-cute girls because you're just that damn good XD There is this guy, Chase, that does really technical, insightful (and even emotional) reactions to music and music videos... you're like his visual-medium counterpart and it's glorious.
