It's misspelled as pudding on both the RUclips title and on the French Chef Wikipedia page. Its correctly spelled as pouding on the actual French Chef video from May 12, 1971.
Anyone hear the sound of that female crew person laughing when Julia made the comment on giving the left over cake for your husband for his 1st dessert.
As someone with a minimum of experience in cooking, I can tell you this.... Boiling or extremely hot sugar is against the Geneva Convention. They banned napalm, after all. ;-) Whatever you do just be EXTREMELY careful whenever cooking with sugar syrups because that stuff is deceptively nasty to get off your skin.
A WHISPER of rum from Julia 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 would drop an elephant
Love her mistakes and realness.
She makes me happy
This episode is from season 6 not 8. Excellent channel, thanks for showing these videos.

I'll allow it.
Pretty funny she makes a point to spell it out in the video, so the viewer gets it right, yet it's not right here anyway
Yeah I noticed that too, she even spells it out. But it makes more sense for people searching for this video, to have it spelled like it is.
Yes! She's using the French word, and it ought to be spelt accordingly
Absolutely incredible!! Looks BEYOND delicious!

I found a store at Les Halles de Paul Bocuse in Lyon that sells glaceed fruit...they are becoming harder to find these days.
Love this pudding ❤❤❤
"""...the theme show song is quite french and fun...does it have lyrics to sing along? ..."""
Where did you find that out?
Ça s'appelle un "diplomate" en Français, le gâteau dedans c'est de la brioche, et c'est servi avec de la crème anglaise. ❤
