my BA's research is on Language Acquisition, I noticed that you study just children's acquisition of English and not another language, we need to compare several languages, for example, I noticed that Kiparsky's level-ordering model of morphological rules doesn't apply on Arabic

Regarding the statement at ~ 12 sec mark: Words are not combined into complex thoughts. Rather, thoughts are combined to form words. Without consciousness, it is doubtful there would be language.

The ability to learn languages is not what makes us truly human. What a silly human-centric notion. Communication is something that exists down to some of the most basic lifeforms, and language as a structure of rules and grammar has also been noted in species of marine mammals as well as birds.
