Thank you for making this video. I followed it to the T. I do have a couple of suggestions though. The first is suggesting to the viewer a way of draining the washer first. In the video, everything is dry. When I took the clamps off the hoses, water came out and drained to the back of the washer and onto the towels I laid down. I then used another towel to dry up the areas inside of the washer that got wet. My hope is that none of the electrical stuff was affected. My second suggestion is the view of the clamp that had to be unscrewed. The view in the video is from the back, which confused me. I think it should be viewed from the front of the washer, since only the front of the washer is off, if you follow the instructions to the T. So, besides that, your video helped me out greatly! Thank you again 😁👍
Thank you guys so much for this video. Just completed it in 45 minutes. Cancel the repair call that was coming in on Wednesday. Our sump was completely full with rubber as we did a mat in there which must’ve been old enough to deteriorate. One thing people shouldpay very close attention to is when you are re-attaching the four prong pin they can easily bend. I had to use a magnifying headset to correct them and then attach it. Other than that everything was good, Rl pump area was even simpler than the one in the video.

Sounds like a Freight train during the spin cycle, too. 😡. For me, I just don't have anything positive to say about this washing machine.
2 questions regarding this procedure... 1. How often this has to be done? On the previous model, where there is a small access panel on the front of the washer, they say on that panel "CLEAN THE FILTER ONCE A MONTH' 2. Would doing all this - basically taking apart good chunk of the machine have any effect on the warranty like 'doing an unauthorized repairs' thus voiding the manufacturers warranty???
It's funny that we're even asking questions like this because I can't imagine anyone trying to do "maintenance" in this way. We are all caught in a Saturday Night Live skit. We'll come to at midnight.
This job was an absolute nightmare and I am mechanically inclined. After cleaning the filter putting it back 1) the filter must be lined up properly inside of the hose 2) The hose must be lined up properly to the top piece. When I tightened the hose clamp the hose kept slipping below the very tiny lip to secure it above the clamp. It took me 90 minutes to "hopefully get it secure. This is a horrible design. Electrolux (Whirlpool) lost a customer over this. This is terrible that I have to go through this to clean a leaking filter on a two year old washing machine that cost over $1,000,
I had the exact same problem. I also went through the back which caused even more pain. All sorts of liquid leaked all over my laundry room and not just water. Sweat and blood as well. What a massive POS this unit is.
I was hoping that there was an emergency 1-880# telling us we could just haul our washers to the curb for pick up and get an immediate refund. Seriously, this design is malpractice.
Thank you for this video. It helped me to locate and clean out the drain filter on my Electrolux eflw317tiw1 front load washing machine, resolving error code E21.
I didn't have time to spend on this right away. So, as a temporary workaround, I used the Clean Washer setting and then the Rinse & Spin setting to wash my laundry. Neither of those settings seems to be affected by the E11 error. Whereas other wash settings get hung up on E11.

I have had mine for 4 years now. I've never done this service, though I'd like to. I run a clean cycle every month with a cup of bleach. I'll never clean the filter unless I get a code or something. They must have hired an engineer from Mercedes-Benz to design this washer.

Builds a stackable washer and dryer. Makes it so you have to unstack it to change or clean a filter? All I'm hearing is, look in the holes in the drum with a flashlight. Use drain witch to get possible dog hair out.

I saw a video for this repair on an Electrolux washer (not sure the model) and the guy went in from the bottom of the washer (tilted it back at a 45 degree angle) as there was a large access area on the bottom. Anyone know if that's possible vs going in from the front or rear?
Yes you can go thru the bottom. Watch "How to fix an Electrolux WASHER THAT WON'T DRAIN". I have a perfect steam Electrolux and the opening is located more center, on the bottom. The washer needs to be leaned 45 degrees or flat onto the right side of the washer to access the opening. Use a 1/4" socket to loosen the ring clamp. The rubber boot, holding the coin/filter holder, can be pulled down from the tub drain fitting and you can stick your finger into the filter. If you can feel cloth, (baby sox) etc. you could try a bent wire clothes hanger to fish out what you can't grab with your fingers. On my machine I had to unclamp the rubber boot inlet going to the top of the washer. I should of used a bent, flattened coat hanger tip into and around the rubber outlet, to break the seal. This allowed me to rotate the rubber boot to take out the plastic filter cage and clean it out. The filter was clean so I removed 2 more clamps for the pump to remove it. Took less than 45 minutes but I'm sure it will take longer to assemble. The hose clamps are hard to compress with a channel lock plyer.
I just did this last night for probably the 6th time since owning this washer. The back panel is much easier to remove as all the screws are accessible, and you don't have to mess with as many trays and electronics.
@@conneljw one my Electrolux model the filter can be accessed from the opening on the bottom. No panel disassemble required. Just flip thr machine on its side. Still not an easy job as access is tight, but it's doable
I doubt it needs to be replaced often but rather it may need to be cleaned due to getting clogged. That's what happened to me after I stupidly washed a dog blanket that was full of dog hair and the washer was unable to drain anymore. But yes it was ridiculously difficult to get to. I figured it out but it probably took 5 hours and a lot of elbow grease. Also created a huge mess when I finally detached the hoses and all the undrained water spilled onto the floor.
@@laurieb2860 Lol yeah, you are right! I don't know, my washer is probably 10+ years old and the filter seemed in pristine condition other than I could have made a dog hair sweater out of its contents. So I've gotta believe it's a really rare thing to ever have to replace it. Who knows, though, if you tend to use a lot of bleach maybe it could get brittle?
I don't know if you'll see this but, like someone else said, I'm having an impossible time getting the wire clamp to seal around the tub drain. I could really use more detail about how they go together. It looks like there's just not enough of a tube for the wire clamp to bite on. There's a very slightly raised lip around that tube...i assume the boot goes over that lip? But the boot just doesn't want to go that far. It seems like the boot needs to be a quarter inch longer or something. Every time I try to tighten it, the top edge of the boot slips down into the outflow side (which is cut out of the drain tube from the drum). I'm pretty much at my wit's end. But I'd hate to throw out the washer now that I'm literally one connection away from it working again. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I even looked at the clamp to make sure it wasn't deformed. It looks fine.
@@Herbocharge-tu2yp thanks for the support! I did eventually get it. The key seems to be that it doesn't go on flat like you would expect. It actually goes on at an angle. I probably could have saved myself an hour or so, just with that piece of info. But it would still be a mind-flaying experience trying to seat it properly. And for two weeks afterward, I was holding my breath with every load of laundry, hoping the thing was on and would hold. It is, and it did. Only took a week for the wounds on my hands and arms to heal.
HOnestly I will never buy this set again. Mine are stacked (in a small space) as well which adds a whole other dimension to the job. Hating my electrolux right now.
I've had my Electrolux since 2011. Haven't had to clean this until I washed my BF's blankets. He has 3 dogs, Husky, German Shepherd, and terrier. The hair did it in. I'd say Electrolux is excellent, but maybe not for folks with dogs that shed a lot. Because this clean out is a big pain, tbh. Especially if you have a stacked set.
"Late stage Capitalism" 👍 And imagine those of us with 401Ks set to index investing across the market. Electrolux or Whirlpool or whatever it's called today, just keeps on getting our thumbs up👍 without our awareness.
No that is caused from gunk on the door remove the door and glass panel carefully and clean off gunk the put back together all you need Is a screwdriver and a cloth I did it without any video and just trying to figure it up
@@amabar3647 my wife would never allow "gunk" to build up on the door. I'll admit the first thing I checked was to make sure a hair or thread wasn't between the door and door seal. It was clean so that wasn't the problem. It was difficult to see against the white paint, and it only happened for a short period of time during the wash cycle, but the water was actually dripping from the corner of the detergent dispensing drawer to the top of the door and running around the door's edge. Turns out the detergent drawer has a design defect. It has a two piece construction and the bottom half was sagging causing a gap which allowed small amounts of water to get through. I glued and clamped the drawer letting it dry overnight. No problems since.
@@Interesting_Placebo if you wash lots of fuzzy blankets or have pets with fine hair or worse in my case wash a cashmere blanket can’t be cleaned from the outside it wedge’s in between the glass panels
AWe had Maytag maxima in a spa that did 12-14 loads a day every day for 5 years and when we upgraded one spa we upgraded this spa set as well. We put the maxima in our apartment and 3 years later its still going strong after a couple of door hinge replacements. its a monster!!
Where is this built? Square head driver, Philips head driver, 7/16 socket, 7mm nut…. Seriously? Just grabbing whatever they have in the warehouse during manufacturing? Plus this level of dismantle for a filter, just screams Service Revenue for the company..
Same problem. When I took the top off, I reached inside to the gray, plastic latch housing. There is a tab on the top. Press that and the latch releases.
If you take the outside drain hose out of the wall drain, and put it lower than the tub, gravity will drain it. That's why washer drains go up before they go down. I realize you've likely solved this problem in the last 5 months, lol. But someone else might need the info.
Actually, there is an access hole at the very bottom of the machine. You have to lift and tilt to access it and this is still painful but way less than the method showed here
Apparently the pump and filter are the Very First items in the factory assembly line, just like my trucks heater core. Engineers today design to meet a price point, and don’t care at all about service ability
The "Engineer" designers are all former prankster writers from Saturday Night Live. Probably high on something too. The salespeople must be in on the gag. No regulations to make them think twice and, if there were, salivating lawyers are ready to take the moolah.
Are you kidding me you literally have to Disassemble the washing machine to replace or clean this filter other washing machines the filter is right in the front 1,2,3 done what a horrible design basically you're forcing a major repair bill I would never buy an Electrolux again..
I agree with all these comments. Don’t buy an Electrolux. But I guess we all already know that. My control panel failed after 2 years and less than a year later another E12 error code.
@@Herbocharge-tu2yp The thing is there is probably nothing wrong with the motor and pump. I wish the government would spend some time thinking about how these corporations are making money. Selling machines which don't last, with cheap Chinese spare parts at inflated prices. But I guess that's too much to ask, expecting someone else to care.
Funny I checked my filter after 7 years, when clothes were still wet after the wash cycle. Ran rinse/spin cycle with no clothes and this time there was a little bit of water in the tub.
WRONG: THERE IS AN ACCESS DOOR UNDER THE WASHER For washers that don’t have a front access door there is a panel you can remove under the washer inline with the filter location
Remember to do this maintenance once a minth, boys and girls. Really! Is this a Saturday Night Live skit? Did the designers of this washer think that we would belly laugh and joyfully leave to instead go pound and scrub our laundry on rocks by the river? These designers must be on something.
Such a terrible design! I ended up replacing sump pump on the same washer. It was only 2.5 years old. I bought the pump online and did it myself instead of having some clown come out and overcharge me...
This is a joke, right? Like ha ha April fool's? Yeah - but really, how do I get to the filter again? It's like a door flap on the back or something rational, right? Seriously are you f'in kidding me? What do I do if I have the storage panel UNDER the machine? Do I have to pull that apart too? I CAN HEAR THE PROFESSIONAL TECHNICIAN EXERTING HIMSELF AT THE 3:20 and 4:40 MARKS! WTF!?
OMG and we have our set up as a stacking set. This is an insanely stupid design. We have pets and children and that sump is going to have to be cleaned on a regular basis. What lunatic decided this inaccessible sump filter was a good idea? There should be an easily accessed pre-filter than can quickly be cleaned at the front of the machine, as is the industry standard. I may be selling this set simply for this ridiculous design flaw.
You can do it! It seems intimidating but it will save you money in the long run. Check out our troubleshooting videos to help you determine the cause before replacing the part.
@@repairclinic Anybody who can watch this video and then tell me "You can do it!" is drinking some really interesting kool-aid. There are at least 7 different steps in this where I could destroy my washer. All for a little leak, because my idiot tenant decided to wash a pocket full of screws.
don't blame engineering. this is all marketing driven according to service techs, a desire for the front panels to be flat and flush (i.e. no filter door lines "breaking" the aesthetic). very silly.
I guess then Electrolux could kindly put a notice on the machine of what can not be done to maintain it and avoid an early end yo the machine. Or, they could have put the access entrance on the side or back. The instructions for my machine:? Tip it on its back.
This is absolutely the stupidest video I have ever seen. Electrolux has clearly made it IMPOSSIBLE for the owner to do this themselves. All of the other companies have the filter easily accessible from the OUTSIDE of the machine. I will NEVER buy Electrolux again. Shame on you! Ffs 🤦🏻♀️
In the same amount of time you can just go get a Samsung and not have to do all of this. I have this problem and considering just getting rid of these unnecessarily complicated units.
I can really see a 90 year old woman disconnecting water supply, electricity supply and then pulling it out from under the kitchen top, and then follow these instructions. Or call the serviceman while on a small pension. Thank you Electrolux.. Not.
I just found this video and ..big nope. Throw it away and get a new one. Because if you call service just to clean that filter every few months it will cost you more than a new washer. The worst design ever, but I think it's intentional. Buy new washers every 2 years. Don't get me started on their dryer. I have them both for 2 years now. No major issues yet, but if they break, I am looking for a washer with the filter situated at the front so I can clean it. We had front load for years back in Europe, and all had the filter in front for better cleaning. Never had to fix it or do any repairs.
DISASSEMBLE THE ENTIRE ELECTROLUX MACHINE??? How could this machine pass any design review inspections? Model# ELFS617STT. I feel dumb... actually thought I had purchased higher-end machine(s)! Not even an access door or mention of needing to clean a filter monthly in Installation or User Guide/Manual. With pedestal in the way I am looking at removing R-side panel too. Hope nothing else breaks during this process and re-build is successful. This feels like a bad joke. I do appreciate your video, as it has been very hard to find any legit trouble-shooting for this hunk of junk! I understand you didn't design the machine, but wanted to comment in case it saves someone else from buying. Electrolux Dryer was replaced under mfg. warranty.
Doesn''t it feel like a Saturday Night Live skit? On my model, there was also no mention of a filter to clean. I learned from Electrolux site that I'd have to "tip the machine on to its back" to access the filter. No he-man muscles came with the machine so I'm sure this won't be a monthly maintenance activity. Electrolux must certainly be laughing.
This video is completely absurd. You dont need to disassemble the entire washer to clean the drain filter. Just flip the machine on its side and access the drain sump wire clamp nut via the opening in the bottom of the washer. Once thr nut is loose you can pull the sump boot off and remove thr filter. Mine clogged with dog hair after 1 yr. Its a fiddily job as access is tight, but it's doable with only loosening one nut
Great! Im in a wheelchair on monthly income and I cant afford a service call. Why couldn't the engineers design it better with an easy access service panel? POS

We have 3 dogs that clog the trap at least once a year.😡. I can fix anything mechanical/pneumatic/electrical/hydraulic, etc. I, too, will never buy another Electrolux washing machine.🤮. Sounds like a Freight train during the spin cycle, too. 😡. For me, I just don't have anything positive to say about this washing machine.
2 questions regarding this procedure... 1. How often this has to be done? On the previous model, where there is a small access panel on the front of the washer, they say on that panel "CLEAN THE FILTER ONCE A MONTH'
@ilovegooogle5073 did you ever figure this out?
Really well explained video on how to do these. Did mine with no problems at all.
I had to do it, the filtre was full.
Very easier than it look.
Took me about an hour.
Most ridiculous thing Ive ever seen!!!!!
I was hoping that there was an emergency 1-880# telling us we could just haul our washers to the curb for pick up and get an immediate refund. Seriously, this design is malpractice.
This is the most horrible engineering I've ever seen. So glad I saw this before my order came in. CANCELLED!
Good for you! It is insane that you are forced to pay a service call to clean a filter.
Thank you for this video. It helped me to locate and clean out the drain filter on my Electrolux eflw317tiw1 front load washing machine, resolving error code E21.
You're joking right?
Filters need to be easy to get to for maint. This is a intentional design , not an oversight.
Well i wont be buying the Electrolux now...
So glad i found this video
Too late for me. Man, that salesman was good.
I have same model. Love it! Easy task if you pay attention.
I love mine. Not scared of video.@@Herbocharge-tu2yp
I didn't have time to spend on this right away. So, as a temporary workaround, I used the Clean Washer setting and then the Rinse & Spin setting to wash my laundry. Neither of those settings seems to be affected by the E11 error. Whereas other wash settings get hung up on E11.
Thank you! It was very smooth to change the filter after we followed your instructions step by step!

I wish I saw this before I bought this washer. If I saw this, I probablely would not buy it. I just received it today. Except this, everything is good so far. Oh, well, good thing is we are handy enough to to this.
I have had mine for 4 years now. I've never done this service, though I'd like to. I run a clean cycle every month with a cup of bleach. I'll never clean the filter unless I get a code or something. They must have hired an engineer from Mercedes-Benz to design this washer.
I think that the designers were formally writers of skits for Saturday Night Live or maybe The Twilight Zone. What pranksters.
Always reconnect the water supply hose and look for leaks, before reconnecting electricity.
Cheers.
Thank you!!! Perfect instructions. Thank you for providing the details-including what parts I needed.

How did it go?
Builds a stackable washer and dryer. Makes it so you have to unstack it to change or clean a filter? All I'm hearing is, look in the holes in the drum with a flashlight. Use drain witch to get possible dog hair out.
Btw, that doesn't work. 🤣
Ouch! What we put up with to do , what should be, regular maintenance. The designers of these machines must have been on something.
And the stacking kit uses double-stick tape. Wish I would have seen this before I just stacked them. Probably full of dog hair after 2 years of use.
Is there any way to install a third party filter setup that is accessible??

O.M.G, I can't believe I have to do all of that to clean the filter😮😮😱😱🤣🤣 Who desined this washer???
You can do it!
You know, There are people that do this job for a living. I guess if you have the time, have fun
@@conphuzed1 Thank you!
Does this help the machine from smelling after a load of laundry ?
Yes and no. For that wipe your seals and run some vinegar through the machine on the clean cycle.
great video, with Huskies in the house. the drain filter was clogged solid. OMG momment.
There is another way. You can access the filter boot from the back of the unit after removing the back panel. It is tight but can be done.
I just did this last night for probably the 6th time since owning this washer. The back panel is much easier to remove as all the screws are accessible, and you don't have to mess with as many trays and electronics.
Thanks for the tip... will do. How did you know that the filter needed to be accessed? Some symptoms?
I tried that but the assemblers stripped the metal screw heads so there's no leverage.
@@conneljw one my Electrolux model the filter can be accessed from the opening on the bottom. No panel disassemble required. Just flip thr machine on its side. Still not an easy job as access is tight, but it's doable
Looking at the part, why does it need to be replaced?
Is there a screen material in those holes?
If not, then what is the point?
I doubt it needs to be replaced often but rather it may need to be cleaned due to getting clogged. That's what happened to me after I stupidly washed a dog blanket that was full of dog hair and the washer was unable to drain anymore.
But yes it was ridiculously difficult to get to. I figured it out but it probably took 5 hours and a lot of elbow grease. Also created a huge mess when I finally detached the hoses and all the undrained water spilled onto the floor.
Well the video is called "sump filter replacement" not "sump filter cleaning..." right? :)
No need to replace the filter, just pull out the debris and wash it
This is not a 5 hour job, an hour at best
Oh the hoops we jump through. I'm sorry for your situation and hope that someone has good a answer. I am angry at the absurdity of this design.
@@Herbocharge-tu2yp...and vise-grips helped me too
pretty ridiculous amount of work, you gotta be kidding me. samsung has this available via. front panels no tools?!!!
That’s what I was thinking
HOnestly I will never buy this set again. Mine are stacked (in a small space) as well which adds a whole other dimension to the job. Hating my electrolux right now.
@@laurieb2860 same, I wish I had known this before
I've had my Electrolux since 2011.
Welcome to late stage capitalism. $500 service call to clean out a clogged drain filter. These engineers know exactly what they’re doing.
"Late stage Capitalism" 👍 And imagine those of us with 401Ks set to index investing across the market. Electrolux or Whirlpool or whatever it's called today, just keeps on getting our thumbs up👍 without our awareness.
Job security. Lots of service calls
How to diagnose sump pump vs. drain pump?
Why the F woul they make the filter change so difficult to get at?
Access doors were so easy.
Simple for me 🏦🏦🏦
I have a Electrolux Luxcare front load. Would a partly clogged sump filter cause small amounts of water to drip from the door during use?
@@Interesting_Placebo I’ve noticed the same issue on my Electrolux washer. Thanks for the tip, I didn’t know how to resolve the leak.
That answers my question. Getting a Samsung.
AWe had Maytag maxima in a spa that did 12-14 loads a day every day for 5 years and when we upgraded one spa we upgraded this spa set as well. We put the maxima in our apartment and 3 years later its still going strong after a couple of door hinge replacements. its a monster!!
I'm jealous. Too late for me.
This is just INSANE!!! Worst design ever!! When my washer dies (most likely of a clogged filter!!), I will replace it with anything but Electrolux!
Where is this built? Square head driver, Philips head driver, 7/16 socket, 7mm nut…. Seriously? Just grabbing whatever they have in the warehouse during manufacturing? Plus this level of dismantle for a filter, just screams Service Revenue for the company..
Exactly!!! Frickin unbelievable!!
Thanks for the info !!
Very detailed
Now...To the ("Ahem" designers/engineers).....
SMFH !!!!
So much for having a "serviceable" filter 👎👎👎👎👎
Love these videos 📹
Thanks this is great and all but how the hell u get the door open in order to do all this? Mine is locked and there is no drain
And SHAME on the retailers for even carrying these idiotic poorly designed monstrosities
The "Engineer" designers are all former prankster writers from Saturday Night Live. Probably high on something too. The salespeople must be in on the gag. No regulations to make them think twice and, if there were, salivating lawyers are ready to take the moolah.
Step 1: Open wallet
Step 2: Buy different brand washer
That woyld be a dream scenario.
Are you kidding me you literally have to Disassemble the washing machine to replace or clean this filter other washing machines the filter is right in the front 1,2,3 done what a horrible design basically you're forcing a major repair bill I would never buy an Electrolux again..
😅.. you’ve got to be kidding me.. stopped watching at 8:08.. I just want to clean a filter for crying out loud..
I agree with all these comments. Don’t buy an Electrolux. But I guess we all already know that. My control panel failed after 2 years and less than a year later another E12 error code.
Electrolux was more interested in capturing our eyeballs with irrelevant electric lights & complex computer codes than designing a proper machine.
This is absolutely atrocious design. No way I'm buying Electrolux.
No wonder there is no mention in the user manual on cleaning the filter. So absurd!
You only need to do this four times a year. 🙄
Funny I checked my filter after 7 years, when clothes were still wet after the wash cycle. Ran rinse/spin cycle with no clothes and this time there was a little bit of water in the tub.
It's easier to change the oil filter on my Honda Pilot even by taking the tire off. Totally ridiculous.
Holy crap what a bad job putting a mantinance item in the belly of the beast. Thumbs down from me.
Be prepare for some water to spill out.
WRONG: THERE IS AN ACCESS DOOR UNDER THE WASHER
For washers that don’t have a front access door there is a panel you can remove under the washer inline with the filter location
Seems like the best option would be to never do this. Second best is to remove that "filter" altogether to never have to do it again
This video seems to me like a joke from competing companies! Its ridiculos, I never see such a complicated procedure for cleaning a filter..
It's a Saturday Night Live skit.
Remember to do this maintenance once a minth, boys and girls. Really! Is this a Saturday Night Live skit? Did the designers of this washer think that we would belly laugh and joyfully leave to instead go pound and scrub our laundry on rocks by the river? These designers must be on something.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🏼👍🏼💯💯
Such a terrible design!
I ended up replacing sump pump on the same washer. It was only 2.5 years old.
I bought the pump online and did it myself instead of having some clown come out and overcharge me...
That’s crazy
This is a joke, right? Like ha ha April fool's? Yeah - but really, how do I get to the filter again? It's like a door flap on the back or something rational, right?
Seriously are you f'in kidding me? What do I do if I have the storage panel UNDER the machine? Do I have to pull that apart too? I CAN HEAR THE PROFESSIONAL TECHNICIAN EXERTING HIMSELF AT THE 3:20 and 4:40 MARKS! WTF!?
Sooo like i know yall are just showing us how to do this. But wtf were they thinking? Like. This isnt practical
Everyone on here is so patient and civil. I'm amazed.
Omg I wish I didn't buy this washer wtf!!! I could cry
Your comment is the first realistically human reaction I've read. I am amazed at how patient and civil people are.
Just want to know why......😢😢😢
I have a washer for sale now if anyone is interested
Funny. 😁 Me too!
Good video but this isn’t a easy fix how can you make it stackable but need to get to all these screws BS
is this purposely done or an engineering lack of common sense ?
Designed by former Saturday Night Live writers.
don't blame engineering. this is all marketing driven according to service techs, a desire for the front panels to be flat and flush (i.e. no filter door lines "breaking" the aesthetic). very silly.
I guess then Electrolux could kindly put a notice on the machine of what can not be done to maintain it and avoid an early end yo the machine. Or, they could have put the access entrance on the side or back. The instructions for my machine:? Tip it on its back.
Those engineers and designers were all smoking something anyway.
Samsung is absolute trash for appliances I own a few and HATE them
@@feraldog5590 good to know! Any brands you like in particular?
@@kevintaylor5715 I've had best luck with LG and Whirlpool. And if you can afford it Bosch.
Samsung washer is the worst! My Samsung washer just died less than 5 years. The drum was out of balance. It's a common issue with Samsung washers.
Electrolux or Whirlpool or whatever it's called today, thanks you for your purchase.
I can really see a 90 year old woman disconnecting water supply, electricity supply and then pulling it out from under the kitchen top, and then follow these instructions. Or call the serviceman while on a small pension.
Thank you Electrolux.. Not.
What a bad design!!!
I now regret buying this pile of crap!!!!!
Its a fiddily job as access is tight, but it's doable with only loosening one nut
ridiculous!
Who made this piece of crap? (The washer, not the video). What year was this designed, 1982? Cmon.
This is ridiculous just to replace a filter. I’m not even changing mines
This is the stupidest setup I have ever seen.
This may just drive me to LG instead.
Great! Im in a wheelchair on monthly income and I cant afford a service call. Why couldn't the engineers design it better with an easy access service panel? POS
Absolutely insane design…. You have literally take machine apart… I won’t be buying a washer from Frigidaire ever again… this should be a simple job… any pet owner should be able to do this easily instead having to go through this
My expert said not to worry about this…. Really?… what a crock of BS

This is sheer BS. Why not make it have an access panel like stackables do. If I get a call for this job, it's going to be minimum 2-hour billing,
