This is a wonderful resource, thanks so much! I can’t believe it doesn’t have an easily accessible filter, you’ve saved me from digging for one unnecessarily, but I’ll be well-equipped to get there when I do really need to.
This was so fantastically helpful!!! It saved me a ton of money (at a pretty darn clutch time) and got my washer working pronto!! I can't adequately express how much I appreciate it!!!

You guys are AWESOME. Thanks so much for making these videos! You are a lifesaver! I combined the instructions in this video (for front loader with integrated control panel) with instructions from one of your other videos (replace door seal boot replacement) in order to understand how to fix my Electrolux front loader. Thanks!

So do we not need to worry about cleaning the sump filter on newer EL models? I see many other videos for other brands' front-loaders indicating this but noted the EL doesn't have a bottom-front facing door to access the filter.
The right-side jet near the top of the door is spewing water slowly and the motor is doing a lot of noise when doing so (noise similar to a Nespresso coffee machine). The left-side jet has a powerful, uninterupted stream of water and there is minimal noise. What could be the problem?

I replaced the front board of my Electrolux EFLW317TIW1 but now it doesn't power on. I double checked the two connections to the board. Any suggestions?
Dear RC: At about 6:55 when you are about to remove the front of the machine, the last screw you remove is one that attaches the top of the front to a silvery metal bar that spans the width of the machine at the very front. For this and related models, that bar is absent from the diagram for the cabinet parts. I just wanted to buy the correct size screw to re-attach the front of my washer, so I don't have to refer to the diagram to do that. I'm just curious or maybe I'm reporting an omission. Do you know why that bar isn't shown?
I need to lift my washer to move it out of the wasroom. Is i work it to remove both weights inside to lighten the load or those that make little difference for the trouble of removing and puting back ? thanks
@@repairclinic I wonder just how many horrifying questions like this one you get on a yearly basis? I will tell you, the last two repairmen who have come to replace our Electrolux pumps left it in worse shape. The first tore the hoses inside because he didn't disconnect the water and the second couldn't figure out how to get into the lower assembly, so he let wire terminals disconnected. You really out out some quality videos these days!
@@repairclinic Also, how do you empty the drum when the pump won't... 🤔 pump? Should I elevate the front and simply buy a battery powered pump to drain the drum to prevent a whole lot of water from flooding the floor?
I had my drain pump changed now it keeps saying my door is open. The guy put a new lock on and it’s still saying door open. Now he says it needs a control board!!!
Did you ever find out? My washer stinks and I have cleaned it several times. Wish I could find the filter as I’m sure it’s the culprit... why is it so complicated compared to the Samsung?
@@nmaze6913did you get the filter cleaned out, was it the cause of the smell? I am looking to buy a washing machine like this would you recommend it or has it been difficult with the location of the coin trap?

Thanks. I was able to open it up and clear the recirculating line that was clogged with hair.

Where is the filter located on the washer and how do I get to it to clean it?
How do I replace water inlet to the soap dispenser? I’ve cleaned the dispenser and checked for cracks.
Very useful!

Scoop what you can, towel the rest. A lot of water that will get smelly if ignored too long
Where is the drain filter?!! HELP
Any advice on why my door boot seal keeps tearing?
So they put the coin trap filter in a spot where the entire machine needs to be dismantled. What rocket engineer is working for these guys?
