Jeff Dunham is at a level above the average " ventriloquist ". A lot of them stand at the mic and speak into it while trying to minimize lip movements. Jeff doesn't need a mic. He knows how to ' throw ' his voice into his characters and it looks like they're actually the ones doing the talking. BRILLIANT !

His jokes aside, the ventriloquism skills are so insane it's it's almost painful to watch, it must be such a strain on the vocal cords.
Did you see the one where somebody got up from the audience to go to the bathroom and Walter is yelling at that person hey sit down where are you going and then Walter AKA Jeff is talking to the wife/girlfriend about whether the guy was coming back and when they found out he was Walter said okay we'll wait and they did and it was so darn funny
The Walter character was a daring move to create. It's as if Walter is controlling Jeff and leading the way with the jokes.
