What a video. Perfectly captures what me and my buddies feel nearly every time we ride! Nothing like a MTB to make you feel like a kid again. Well done.
Awesome video .... I like the fact that you made it about that we can all have that moment on our individual mtb journey Ryan 🙏. Congrats James ....Legend!
Awesome vid!!! I knew when I saw those flashes you where letting us know something was comming up. This isn’t just filming, this isn’t just riding, this is storytelling. And that’s an ART
I've hit the first gap on the pro-line, by far scariest jump I've done. After two successful hits on the first one we went down then back up for another lap. I was hyping myself up for the second 50ft gap. Then I proceeded to brake check the first gap and have the worst case of my life. Needless to say I called it for the day and thinking about it now, I don't think I will ever be comfortable riding jumps that big, just feels unnatural to me. Props to James for hitting them both. Its a huge accomplishment. Keep up the great videos!
I appreciate the execution of measuring the jumps on that trail. We all know they’re big, but didn’t realize how big. Looking forward to the day when we get a proper blue jump line on the mountain.
Go on my son. Well done, excellent. Me and my USA fiancé a saving up for our specialized status 160 enduro bikes, even at age 52 and age 50. Like I told you she's an expert BMX flatlander. I'm an expert ADHD lunatic. Lol. We've almost finished re-shaping, raking all the trails, dirt jumps in Clyne Valley, Swansea City, Wales, UK. We've just got to trim the hedge growth back slightly over them with our petrol hedge cutters. They look awesome, new trails being build to, plus a 40 foot step down. We've re-opened and salvaged some old trails to. Their up and running. Excellent jump, it all starts with jumping off street curbs, to 40 feet dirt jumps at breakneck speed. That's how I started on Raleigh drop handle in the late 70's, then my Raleigh BMX burner in the early 80's off walls, car bonnet's (hood's), scaffolding planks and old kitchen doors on top of house bricks. Well done kid. God bless.
I loved watching you guys do a whole bunch of stuff that I will never ever do. It was inspiring, and it makes me want to go out and get on the bike. But I was almost brought to tears when you gave that kid all that wonderful stuff. You made his whole freaking month! I loved it.
That video was amazing! Great job capturing the feeling of the day and the stoke of what is bike riding! Glad I could convince James to send the mega pro jump! 🎉
goddamn I'm getting emotional on my lunch break lol. Nah this was inspiring as hell. Amazing job James, I knew you'd get this good and more. Ryan you bastard adding in the cracked ribs having me holding on to that last jump like it was a last minute game winning touch down with seconds left on the clock.
Whoa This was brilliant! I see what you did here :-) spiced in all the content creator ingredients. Story, conflict, hook, emotion, retention, personalization engagement. Outstanding.. i'm taking notes.
my longest was 30' on bmx, and now I am into mtb, and ive already dont a 28'. Going to do more gap drops now, hopefully can get a squishy frame soon. Running hardtail specialized pitch. Upgraded the HT, to press in EC44 to 1.5' converter on bottom bearing to convert it for tapered forks. Then stuck rockshox recon 130mm, with a stans no tube hugo front, and that was a massive upgrade. I run very high pressures in my forks, so when im doing drops or anything ill never bottom out. Running like 130ish psi in the fork. I just love mtb been doing it for about 5 months or so , and coming from 25 years in extreme sports, DH is literally the best feeling ever!
What a great episode Ryan! Love your videos. Especially when they feature the trails here around Calgary and Canmore. I've never been down all of Flight 66. Just the lower part. Perhaps one day! Amazing accomplishment James!
Love this guys! What an inspiration. Great job y'all! 🤙🏻 As someone who's just learning how to ride my mountain bike at 43, I can identify with the feeling of learning something new in the pursuit of progression. Cheers bros! 🤙🏻
was so nice video. just one suggestion: maybe a slomo of the jump would have been super sick at the end of the video. it all happened so fast thanks for your amazing honst content
I am head first into dirt jump riding for the same reason. First it was to get better at mtb jumping but now i love working big jump lines and working up the progression.
Great vid.... I need to get my jump confidence back, after a crash pretty much killed it... Wasn't even that bad a crash, got bucked... It had been going great til then... 🤦♂️😕😞
Great video as always. Hoping you can give a little advice on the Michelin Tires. As with all lines of tires, there's so many options. What would you recommend for a guy who rides an enduro bike, likes the parks, but spends a lot of time on the local Edmonton trails?
Great video... I'm pretty lucky I get to ride moose pretty much weekly but I've never hit that but I know how massive it is and the video doesn't do justice... Broke my wrist further down the trail last year and it's got more than a couple victims. Also, thanks for upping the bar needed to hitch a ride up from a beer to a $600 prize pack 😂
Nice work Ryan…vids are getting better every time. That said, you’re not “bumbling” down the mountain anymore 😂
I'm glad someone said it lol
What a video. Perfectly captures what me and my buddies feel nearly every time we ride! Nothing like a MTB to make you feel like a kid again. Well done.

Listening to EVERY ONE of you reacting to his success was the best feeling this morning! Time to go ride my bike 🤘🏼
Awesome vid!!!
I knew when I saw those flashes you where letting us know something was comming up.

Dang. I ruined it for myself lol. I thought the video was busted lol.

Awesome, awesome vid, thank you! And congratulations to James, that was sick!
The twist at at the end was unfortunate - sorry to hear about your ribs!
I appreciate the execution of measuring the jumps on that trail. We all know they’re big, but didn’t realize how big.

The segway from last week's statement to this week's banger is smooth as can be.
Go on my son.
Well done, excellent.

Just bumbling over a 40’ gap jump😂. Great vid, really enjoyed the story.
Been a sub for a few years, watched pretty much everything you have in your catalog. This is probably the best work you have done. Congrats James.
Great comment. Thanks 🙏
Absolutely epic!!! You guys nailed the feeling of that moment!!! Congratulations to James! Your videos are the the best out there!
Great video!! I was cheering for him and hope your ribs heal up soon!!

Awesome story, awesome production! This is far beyond the average content creation!
This. This is how you create Inclusive, inspiring content. Building each other up, rather than tearing each other down.
Well done, lads! 👏 👏👏

Sick jumps but making that kid's day was the best part!

I see what your saying about work of art.
Banger of a trail, shame there is an ocean and lots of mountains between us.
Epic epic video 🤘 emotions and everything 🔥
Is this video Pinkbike approved?
With all the "bumbling" comments you've stirred up, you guys should do a run of Tshirts.
"Bumbler and proud of it"
or something.
PS, awesome episode.
when he was in the air it gave me chills
Awww man, great video...love it!
This is 🔥
Truly a beautiful ride of a story.
Excellent!
these jumps are absolutely wild
Great stuff!!
Not gonna lie, you had me going there with the "cracked ribs." I'm glad the story went in a positive direction instead.
Super nice video. And yes, I kept waiting for the crash… only to get surprised by you!? Hahahahaha, sorry man - swift recovery!!
Pinkbike crew will say the vid is a tictok dance and won't allow it to post on yt😄
Dayum bruh!!!
Well it doesn't look tiny on camera, that's the kind of feature I avoid when I'm far from home, unless I'm lured in by following someone 😂
I see that you are bumbling down a mountain bike trail. How dare you!?
Stoke + inspiration 🎉🎉
I love this. Raaaaaad!!!!
Love this Video !!!!

im 14 years old and really want to move to canada, mainly for the bikes, and was wondering how james feels about it as he is also from britain?
