    *Reading some comments on this video I can see that people don't understand that being disappointed with something it's not saying that something is bad...* *Was I disappointed? Yes, and I've expressed why in the video. Do I think SAS is a bad airline? No, in any way. Will I fly again with them before the end of COVID? No. Will I give SAS another try after COVID? Yes, for sure.*
    *I hope that clarifies some doubts...*

      The problem with your comments is that you lead people to the conclusion that SAS was a disappointment. You are flying during a pandemic. On short flights in the USA under three hours, there is NO cabin service. This is to protect passengers and cabin crew, not to cut costs (although there are savings in catering). If the flight departed and arrived on time and there was positive management of social distancing and the wearing of masks, this is all that can be expected at this time.

      SAS usually serves coffee, tea and water on those short flights so what did you actually miss? The flight looks steady, it got you from Brussels to Copenhagen.

      Disappointment is not an automatic and conclusive negative, particularly and specifically in this case when/if it’s describing a fair comparison to what you were expecting vs. what you experienced and/or received. I don’t think you lead people to believe anything, just as you have no control over what assumptions one incorporates into your statements! I can understand your response (and appreciate that you took the time to read and respond!) but its also too bad that you felt the need to defend exactly what it is: a statement. Also, a review will contain statements! LOL

    I flew with SAS earlier this year - in January and February from Berlin to Stockholm and Stockholm to Amsterdam, with both flights in SAS Plus, and both flights were on the A319.
    Honestly, I had nothing but good things to say about both flights.
    The food provided on both flights was excellent and so was the service. Seat comfort and legroom were just fine , and I had a row to myself on both flights.
    Also, the ticket prices were very reasonable considering what was included.
    Would I fly SAS again? Absolutely!

    I’ve flown with SAS many times in between Copenhagen and the US. Their long haul service is pretty nice. Right now they’re mainly using the Airbus A330-343. However, SAS will be replacing their A330 and A340 fleet with the Airbus A350-900. I can’t wait!! SAS is my childhood airline. I was born in Sweden.

    I don't wanna be that kind of person to be one of those to come with a negative feedback, but there are some points that I strongly disagree with you.
    I've flown SAS so many times and I'm super satisfied everytime. When the trip goes smooth like butter and those times inconveniences happen. But due to the COVID 19 pandemic, they've temporarily suspended the inflight services to stop the spread of the virus onboard.
    I've taken some flights with them under these circumstances and I know it SUCKS when it feels like a flying public bus (Airbus?), but I feel it's more important to just bare through this period and think about the crew and passengers health and safety than having the ability to buy overpriced soda cans onboard.
    I highly recommend to try again in the future when the pandemic settles down and air travel is back to normal again :)
    Anyways a pretty good video and great content! It's a thumbs up from me! :D

      Thanks for expressing your opinion, Joachim.
      What I criticise the most is that the crew disappeared completely for all the flight and they didn't check at least 1 time if the passengers were keeping the masks on (I could see some without it). Giving water is not service, it's a need on a close to 0% humidity environment, especially when you pay 100€+ for the ticket.
      I will give them a try after the pandemic. Let's see what happens...

      The cov safety is only an excuse. However, in case of sas it does it matter cause they always had poor service.

      Suspending onboard service is more likely driven by aims of massive cost cutting instead of preventing infections. That's a really bad excuse in my eyes. This "premium" carrier is on the same level as Ryanair - so, it's only difference is the price, where Ryanair has an advantage.

    What did you expect. The cabin crew tries to stay safe and also the flight you were fying is pretty short. SAS plus is not a Business Class its a Premium Economy. They didnt serve anything onboard for a reason. I fly with SAS every time and im super satisfied with them. SAS is a very good airline when flying to Spain from Oslo forexample you get free drink onboard (water) You dont get anything when flying with norwegian. Its not correct to compare SAS with Lufthansa and Swiss etc. Its probably not as good as Lufthansa but it is a very good and not too expensive airline to fly with. SAS HAS THE BEST CREW EVER!

      What did I expect? At the very minimum a crew that would care about passengers keeping the mask on. They didn't appear through the cabin during all the flight and many pax decided that it was good enough to take it out...
      I was expecting a bottle of water from an airline that charges you 100 €uro for a 1h flight.
      Do you think getting a bottle of water on a 4h+ flight makes a good airline?
      "SAS HAS THE BEST CREW EVER!" I'm sorry that I can't say the same based on my experience.
      I will give SAS a try after the COVID pandemic is controlled and we are flying "normally" again.

      Why is it not correct to compare them to Swiss or LH? SAS should be compared to them and it is much worse in terms of service and reliability. Better to choose LCC If such option

      @@sebastianliksza9892 LH and Swiss does not have Norwegian Air flying on the excact same routes right after SAS. Without Norwegian we can compare them to Swiss and LH

    The reason for the crew "disappearing" is to reduce contact with people to reduce possibility of infections. Many airlines are doing that now on short haul flights. These are just new precautions. I don't see anything disappointing about this flight since it's the new norm apparently for some airlines. I know for a fact that Icelandair, Atlantic airways and SAS are using these precautions.

    Si te consuela, yo hice el dia 8 un viaje parecido en un Neo de Vueling a BCN y lo mismo, una toallita y la tripulación desapareció, además solo dejaban subir los trolley hasta la fila 7. Nada de catering, pero había más orden para desembarcar de fila en fila para evitar proximidad.
    Felicidades por tus vídeos, son instructivos para los que nos fijamos en todos los momentos del vuelo.

    Very nice trip revue; you flew nearly over my village! Due to the COVID-19 a lot of airlines are limiting their catering on short flights. Here in the past I flew with Martinair from Amsterdam to the Canary Islands with a 4,5 hour flight with the same catering capacity they used on their flights of 2,5 hours. You know: the Canary Islands are under Spanish control and seen as "European destination" When I flew with them to Egypt (4 hours) the service was "intercontinental" ! So it is always a surprice when you fly..... Greetings with compliment from the Netherlands by Arie Bert Versteeg ;-)

      I wasn't expecting a lot from SAS... but at least I was expecting something... In the end, we got nothing at all. No service, no visible crew... nothing. I definitely won't repeat...
      I have already recorded my connecting flight on the SAS CRJ900 and I guess that will be the last SAS trip report on this channel for the next years... =/

      @@OnBoardHD SAS crew mentions how you have to wear the mask. They can't walk around the entire flight checking that every single passenger wears it properly for quite obvious reasons....

      @@SamuelHMay They can, and they should from time to time, as every other airline I've travelled with did. The main mission (and many would say the only one) of the cabin crew is to ensure the safety of the passengers.

      @@OnBoardHD If you spot a passenger, not wearing the mask properly, you can kindly ask them to wear it properly, or call the flight attendents, so they only have to interact with passengers the smallest ammount time needed, rather than just complain about it on a youtube video later on I guess....

      @@SamuelHMay No, Samuel, it's not my function to act as police with other passengers. To ensure that the passengers wear the mask is the crew's function, not mine.
      If the passenger seat next to me doesn't wear it, of course, I will tell him/her. If passengers seated 4-5 rows from me, I'm not gonna start shouting.

    ¿Los neo son los que tienen la punta de la ala diferente no?

      No, los NEO son los que llevan los nuevos motores. NEO son las siglas de New Engine Option.
      A lo que te refieres en las punta del ala se llaman Sharklets en Airbus y se llevan instalando en todos los A320 desde antes del NEO.

    Una pregunta, ¿alguien sabe por qué los Airbus a320 Neo de Iberia tienen los cristales de la cabina más oscuros (y en mi opinión mucho más bonitos) que el resto de airbus a320 Neo de otras aerolíneas, que los tienen igual que los a320 CEO? Los cristales de cabina de los a320 Neo de Iberia son como los de los Airbus a330 Neo y no entiendo por qué. Un saludo y muchas gracias.

      No son los cristales, es pintura alrededor de ellos. Es una opción que cualquier aerolínea tiene cuando los compra (o incluso después de comprarlos se puede pintar, claro).
      No sólo Iberia tiene los A320NEO con el "antifaz". Lufthansa ha recibido estos días el primero con él.

      OnBoardHD muchas gracias, si cierto vi los de Lufthansa también, era una pregunta que me hacia desde hace tiempo. Es que ese tipo de pintura de “antifaz” hace parecer a los cristales más oscuros, pero ya veo que no lo son. Sigue así con tus vídeos crack!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💪🏻

    I like the extra info you put in your videos, very much appreciated. The lack of anything on this flight is uncalled for. SAS isn't known for it's business class service, but this is extreme. Putting SAS on my No Fly List.

      I thought exactly the same when I was onboard that flight. I have already recorded a connecting flight on the SAS CRJ900 from CPH to Warsaw and that will be the last SAS trip report on the channel for a long time... I was expecting a lot more... we ended getting nothing. =/

    Hello Lucas.Always a pleasure watching a video of yours and especially when you fly in a NEO jet.Thrilling flight report.I have only flown with SAS in 1978,yes it's true,in a SAS DC8 from Athens to Tokyo through Bangkok and Manila.I was 8 years old at the time but it was my first long distance flight.So I always remember it.If you are in a plane for so many hours you can't forget.It was a real flying marathon.Very dissapointing facts about SAS from watching this video.No service at all?and it is not an airline with low prices.Really sad.Keep safe my friend

      I would love to fly in that SAS DC8! For sure it was a 100 times better experience that mine on this flight...
      As you've said, no service at all on this flight, neither on the next one, I did from CPH to Warsaw on the CRJ900. Tickets were not cheap, definitely not. An airline that I can't recommend in any way, and an airline that I'm not planning to fly ever again unless it's a wide-body, just for making a different video...
      On Saturday we'll have a very special trip report: Ryanair's longest route! 6 hours flight! :D

    I guess you may have to review your expectations rather than anything else. As we all do at this time. Is this really only about the lack of catering? This is the airline policy in the pendemic conditions, advised by public authorities for flying in this period. It's great really that anything flies, after several months of complete grounding, with the risk of airlines going belly-up one after another. The airlines protect their crews and us, as otherwise they would have hundreds of person-to-person interactions, with inherent infection risk, as most infections are asymptomatic. We can all get the food and drink just before boarding for a few euros. I would personally go crazy of pleasure on that plane, I lived in Brussels and Amsterdam, and I took a walk from Naldwijk to Measlantkering (the Rotterdam Port sea gates) and Hoek van Holland. Would be great to see all these places from the air. Great video with a kind of misleading title. Why not appreciate what you have.

    Precioso vídeo te ha quedado, con unas vistas fantásticas se ve perfectamente por donde pasas y también me ha gustado mucho las diferentes libreas de los aviones de Bruses Airlines. En lo de Scandinavian estoy contigo ni siquiera un pequeño detalle como una botella de agua es inaudito, pero me imagino que muchas compañías están a reducir costes todo o posible para hacer frente a las medidas implantadas por las medidas impuestas por el COVID, pero eso no es excusa para tener un mínimo de confort con los pasajeros y no dar la cara. Buen finde semana . Un abrazo

      Como bien dices... hay un mínimo que hay que mantener... hoy, por ejemplo, he volado con KLM y desde luego que no han hecho como SAS con el servicio a bordo. Muy profesional y de manera más cautelosa que pre-COVID, pero hay servicio...
      Por cierto! Este sábado tendremos un vuelo muy especial: la ruta más larga de toda la red de Ryanair! 6 horas de vuelo! :D

    Fantastic report! I loved all these commented window views. The total lack of service even in business class is a very poor show of SAS..not worth the money.Thank you for sharing

      Lo de no dar comida a bordo lo entiendo por la situación actual, sin embargo, que las aerolíneas que cobran precios de locura por un billete no den una botellita de agua, me parece lamentable.
      Respecto a "corta-final pista XX" significa que el avión va a llegar de llegar al punto en el que se decide si aterrizar o frustrar el aterrizaje.

      LEVEL Europe, es decir, la parte de la aerolínea que operaba en Viena y Amsterdam ha quebrado. La parte que operaba en París creo que también. Hasta donde yo se, la única que se ha salvado es la que opera en Barcelona los vuelos de largo radio. Todo el resto ya es historia.

    I just love love love your HD videos! When I shoot my takeoff and landing clips I always get the window vibrations, and so my footage always ends up shaky and wavy. These are two cities I haven't visited, so thanks for the tour!

    Estupendo vuelo, con Scandinavian Airlines; yo he volado con ellos desde AMS to OSL y te puedo asegurar que la aerolínea está muy cambiada. Antes al menos la aerolínea te daba un vaso de agua o té para beber y ahora la tripulación desaparece de la cabina. La verdad es que da pena el ver cómo las aerolíneas están están cambiando poco a poco por culpa de la crisis. Buen video, sigue así!

      Yo la verdad es que quedé muy decepcionado con SAS... Quizás es que me esperaba demasiado... pero lo cierto es que fue peor... en fin... una aerolínea en la que no tengo planes de volver a volar. Con el vídeo que tengo aún grabado en el CRJ900 tengo suficiente.

    bufff, yo tampoco me esperaba eso de SAS. Parece que muchas aerolíneas están aprovechando la situación para recortar en todo lo posible... se están exponiendo a perder toda distinción en el mercado. Otro ejemplo parece ser Turkish, que aunque sí está ofreciendo un servicio mínimo, lo ha reducido a niveles cuestionables. Un saludo!

      Totalmente de acuerdo. Yo pienso algo muy parecido. No obstante, he de decir que muchas aerolíneas están recuperando algo de ese servicio poquito a poco ante tanta queja por parte de los clientes.Veremos cómo continue esto...
      Sin embargo, lo que me decepcionó más de SAS fue la actitud de su tripulación de cabina. Son directrices de la propia compañía? Puede ser, pero me da igual. Me decepciona tanto si es orden de la aerolínea como si fue decisión propia de la tripulación de cabina.

    I was gonna fly with SASfrom Manchester to Copenhagen in may before the COVID crisis, sad I couldn’t but I understand why. I understand why there was no inflight service and all but the face they disappeared for the whole flight after takeoff is really strange. They could have least checked masks like you said and given out a small bottle of water. Maybe their inflight service has changed since you embarked on this flight last month. I can understand why you want to stay clear from SAS from watching this video. Hope my first trip with SAS in a month or two goes better than this.

    Fantastic video OnBoardHD, but what is it with airlines like Lufthansa and SAS not even giving passengers a bottle of water. If I am being honest I don't really understand why they are not serving food or drinks. You can buy these items without any problem at the airport and take them on board, so what is the difference with buying them onboard the aircraft. This Covid situation is really hard to understand sometimes ;-( ;-(

      As you say, I can understand that for short flights they don't want to give food to everyone, so the passengers would take out the mask altogether, but water... come on! Passengers won't drink all at the same time! It's ridiculous...
      And yep, as you've said, you can take food from home or airport and they will allow you to take out the mask for eating and drinking... I see as a ridiculous way of reducing costs...
      Hopefully, we'll find a vaccine soon and this worldwide psychosis will come to an end...

      @@OnBoardHD Im Cabin Crew and I dont underestand it either. The official reason is to minimise the contact however we do the service on long haul flights the same way and the only change is that we have to wear masks. However we offer free water...And the same time airlines are crying for money when the money from the BOB is the extra revenue. More logical explanation are the catering costs. Flight loads are very low on some flights ATM so probably its not making sence from that point of view

    Me parece bueno que en Europa puedan subirse o bajarse de aeronaves por la puerta trasera en el caso de embarque o desembarque remoto. Aquí se usa solamente para catering.

      Las puertas que se usan para catering son las del lado derecho del avión. La trasera izquierda se usa para desembarcar en cualquier lugar del mundo. Otra cosa es que no sea muy habitual en el aeropuerto que frecuentes...

      @@peerkbh Seems that you didn't understand or you just didn't want to understand.
      In the video is clearly stated that I perfectly understand to not give any meal. Not giving water on a 0% humidity environment is something I don't agree with. But the main reason why I was disappointed was that the crew completely disappeared for all the flight. They didn't check at all if the passengers had the mask on during the flight or not (I can tell you some didn't wear it for all flight).
      Now, if you like that, go ahead, enjoy it!

    Madre mía la gente en los comentarios lanzándose a la yugular por decir que te ha decepcionado una aerolínea... A mi el vídeo me ha encantado y entiendo completamente lo que quieres decir, está bien que adapten los servicios que ofrecían antes de la pandemia para que sea un vuelo seguro, pero lo que ha hecho SAS es suprimir esos servicios, lo que no tiene sentido alguno. Otras aerolíneas siguen ofreciendo servicio de catering (Ryanair por ejemplo) y no considero que volar con ellos ahora mismo sea menos seguro, ni mucho menos.

    Pues yo estoy totalmente de acuerdo contigo, el excusarse por el covid para no dar ningún servicio es lamentable e imperdonable. No creo que SAS sea famosa por su buen servicio ya que fue una de las primeras en Europa en adoptar el modelo buy on board en su radio corto y en largo radio te cobran por ciertas cosas que cualquier otra te ofrece sin coste alguno, eso sí, cobrándote unas tarifas exageradas. Estoy totalmente de acuerdo en que las compañías te cobren por ciertos servicios y que el pasajero pueda customizar su vuelo, pero sé coherente y no cobres como una compañía de servicio completo, porque ya no lo son. En fin, que no entiendo algunos comentarios, como siempre un reporte muy completo y entretenido. Enhorabuena!

      Correcto. Ese es el problema de la mayoría de aerolínas "de bandera" hoy en día. Producto low-cost precio de aerolínea legacy... luego se sorprenden de que la gente vuele mucho más con Ryanair, Wizz, Easyjet...

    I dont exactly know what you expected of SAS in these times. Be happy they are flying at all. Easy for me to say, as a nordic person, because we need SAS. They have their flaws, price structure alot of the time is a joke compared to LH and KLM but by doing the least moving around in the cabin ( their service also haults people from feeling the need to move around etc) I think they are actually doing the right thing for trying to combat the spread of covid. Other airlines do less.

      So, from what I'm reading, the main problem is that SAS pays a lot in salaries and so on? If that's the case... the staff should realise that they will end killing the airline...
      I do agree to not give food to the passengers in short flights to avoid them taking out the facemask all together... however, I find completely unacceptable to not give a single bottle of water after the fare you pay for flying with them... Air France and KLM applied that measure immediately after the outbreak, and they've changed it already after the huge bad feedback they've got... Let's see if SAS do the same... To be honest, I don't care if they change it or not... I'm not planning to fly again with them after this marvellous experience.
      Anyway, thanks a lot for your opinion. Very interesting coming from someone that lives in the same country or, at least, a lot closer than me :)

      @@OnBoardHD yea there are always more sides of the story. quite frankly for competitive prices staying low and fair to mediumprice, I think that SAS is a "necessary evil". But imagine if they went bust, who would take their routes ? Norwegian is bleeding too. And I would hate to see them sitting on that routenetwork and completely ruin prices. Their pricing structure for years have been as bad as SAS on many routes. one way being more than double of the other way same route. KLM didnt change the water serving ? they have always served free water even before covid ? SAS however, with those prices should be able to afford it! Really what I wanna see, is that governments start lowering taxes on flights, and put them up on beef. c02 much higher from cows than planes. Besides half of the fare is usually taxes, and thats a fucking joke. No airline can make money on that almost. Super fine margins.

      @@danielkandi4582 Nobody wants any airline to go bankruptcy, for sure not. However, to avoid that airlines need to make internal changes. If SAS is making them good, if not... well, good luck, they will need it.
      Also, about your concern about SAS regional routes: don't worry, if those routes are profitable, there will be always airlines willing to fly them.

      @@OnBoardHD I work in SAS, and can tell you that salaries are not very high. They used to, back in the day, before their prior financial crisis, but not anymore. That said, there are still quite a few people who still have high salaries, but thats the dinosaurs, who have been employed for decades :) ...however, the company, as many others in the airline industry are in big trouble financially...but having close to no income from passengers for a few month is a disaster, which means they have to cut everywhere they can. They are also cutting off 7500 employees in Scandinavia, but still we don't know if the airline will survive the winter, without further financial support from the governments. Also take into account all the refunds they have to pay out, for cancelled flight since march/april, in wich many people still haven't been refunded. So you complaining about not getting a bottle of water, on a short flight within Europe seems a little pathetic to me. After all, these short flights, are like taking the bus...do you expect a free bottle of water on a busride too? And if this bottle is so important to you, why not just buy a bottle at the airport...can't be that expensive. And about the crew not running around checking that the passengers wear their masks properly, I could agree to a certain point. But remember, the crew want to reduce the risk for themselves too...after all, if one of them gets infected, it could potentially mean even more cancelled flights.

    I live in Stockholm so have to fly SAS often. Very poor airline with basically no service on board for any destination. Even to Hong Kong they will only give you water and dry chicken. You have to pay for any other drink.

      Some others told already that. I would never have expected that from SAS. I had a completely different about it... I don't know, something at a similar level as Lufthansa or Finnair... but they definitely far from those.
      So even in long-haul pre-COVID were already acting like a low-cost airline!??? What a disappointment... I would have never expected this from SAS...
      I had other options that, for sure, they were a lot cheaper... but I wanted to show SAS on the channel. Some people were asking for it and, after many years, I had the perfect opportunity... I'm not planning to fly with them anymore after this. Maybe once all this COVID crisis ends I will try 1 flight with them to check I've they've really changed...

    I understand that you are dissapointed, but the helth of the crew must Come first. The risk of of being infected from a passanger is the reason why u didnt get the experience u were expecting. SAS is a terrific Airline with one of the best omboardservice in europe.

      My point is not that there was not onboard service, the main thing that dissapointed me is that the crew was not even checking if the pax had the mask. Not a single time during the flight.
      The health of the crew is important, for sure, but it's their job! Imagine a doctor says he/she won't explore you because his/her health is important. (Apply this to any job where you need to be close to other people).
      That's one of the reasons why crews have all kind of masks and other things to protect themselves.
      Anyway, maybe I wasn't able to show the real feeling onboard on this video...

      It was mandatory, of course.
      The only objective of the cabin crew is the pax safety (serving meals etc is completely secondary). That includes, also, checking that the rules are followed by the pax.

    i had the exact same experience, probably like 30 degrees in the cabin with no water and air condtitioning not working before far into the flight. and with the facemasks on it almost became unbearable.

      My main disappointment with SAS is that the crew disappeared completely for all the flight and they even didn't check if the people were wearing the mask. Maybe it was just an exception...

    You Shoul DEFINITLEY try SAS once COVID has finished. I have been on it and it was amazing. I even watched other trip report and some say its the best short haul service in europe. PLS DEFINITLEY TRY IT ONCE COVID IS OVER!

    Did you read SAS updated policy? Regarding Cabin Crew and Serving? There is a reason they have a 5/5 on CoVid Safety. Might be time to do some prior research before just bashing a company?

      Also, the Flight is how long? 45-60 mins?
      Also, I'm Swedish and he explains that there is no service on this flight and that this was stated on their website.

      I guess that not checking that the passengers keep the mask on during the flight is also a 5/5.
      Maybe I was expecting too much from SAS... but for what others said already, those expectations were too high; far from being realistic.
      I will give them a try after the pandemic. Let's see what happens...

    Great trip report and appropriately honest! Can't complain about your footage of the flight itself, either. A really disappointing flight, otherwise - but not a surprise at all when you fly SAS. Even pre-COVID, SAS's in-flight service was spartan (and that's a compliment). I don't know why anyone would voluntarily fly SAS and pay their fares when you can travel with Ryanair or EasyJet for lower fares and (frankly) better cabin service.

      Some others told me already that about SAS pre-COVID... I've never would expect that... I had a completely different idea about SAS, but for what I'm reading it was already offering a very poor service before all this COVID crisis...
      From now on, I will definitely consider any other options before booking SAS... After all this COVID thing passes, I will fly with them again, just to check if all these measures are cancelled... Let's see...

    Too right,SAS has been cost cutting to the extreme for years, Plus class is their premium class but not even the middle seat is kept free.. Just another legacy carrier that turned into a LCC. Oh well the views in this video were absolutely superb👍

      I didn't know that, I thought it was just because of the current situation.
      What really surprised me is that they don't have any separation between economy and tourist. Now I realise that they don't have a proper business class... Well, this is not what I was expecting from SAS... =/

      @@OnBoardHD SAS also ended access to third party lounges for premium passengers back in 2017..
      So with full fare plus tickets or Star Alliance Gold you were refused entry...
      Lufthansa has done just that now as well until the end of this year for now.. These so called covid 19 measures are another excuse for even more costcutting..
      If you're into lounges it's better to fly lowcost and buy a priopass cause all the perks of the legacy carriers will soon be a thing of the past.

      Crosswind landing with a firm touchdown and exactly at the touchdown zone. Perfect.

    La verdad es que el video es muy bueno y hay unas vistas impresionantes, pero el detalle del catering, estropea el viaje, claro. Es que no te vendan ni una sola botella de agua, es muy desagradable. Cuando volé con Ryanair a Copenhague, nos dejaron en mitad de la pista, a las 9 de la noche y cargados con las maletas. Ufff, hasta que llegamos a la zona de alquileres de coches. En fin, fue un buen viaje, salvo por el km que tuvimos que andar desde la pista a la terminal.

    I flew From Dublin To Riga with 1 stop it was alright and nice to fly with to be honest
    Dublin To Stockholm (SAS)
    Stockholm to Riga (was operated by airbaltic)

      El verano pasado volver desde Copenhagen a Estambul con Turkish Airlines. Evidentemente, ni punto de comparación con SAS... La verdad es que no tengo planes de volver a CPH en los próximos meses. Por ahora tengo grabado otro vuelo con SAS desde CPH en el avión CRJ900. Lo subiré dentro de unas semanas al canal.

    SAS is never my first choise, flying out of Copenhagen.
    Even before Covid19, they were a boring overrated airline

      El tema es que directamente no hubo atención a los pasajeros... soltaron un msg por megafonía diciendo "lo más importante será siempre la saludad de nuestros trabajadores y pasajeros, por eso evitamos cualquier contacto" y a tomar por saco. Desaparecieron para siempre. Una vergüenza.

Esta bien que quieras proteger a todos en el avión pero, si tienes las medidas de seguridad dar agua es lo mínimo que podemos esperar. Esas toallitas para las manos las vende Mercadona en paquetes y son sumamente económicas.

    wtf... okay good to know, I think from now on I will always buy a bottle of water at the airport just in case something like this happens. That is terrible, would have never expected that from SAS. Even Ryanair had better service on my two recent flights.

      That's exactly my reaction when I was onboard: WTF!?
      I wasn't expecting a lot from SAS, but I was definitely expecting "something" because we got nothing...
      Not planning to fly SAS again in the next years unless it's on a wide-body... Really disappointed...

      I was very disappointed with SAS, to be honest. Maybe I was expecting too much... but the truth is that we didn't get anything. We even didn't see the crew! As soon as the seatbelts were released they closed their curtains and the next time we've seen them was for checking the seatbelts during descent. Ridiculous...
      For me, it was one of the worst experiences I had in Europe.

    SAS🤮what a shame, also in BC no service...embarassing and an absolute NO GO!
    I would write a letter of complaint!
    Each LCC is much better (Wizzair 👍👍👍😜) and after a flight like this I would NEVER book SAS in the future, never never never👎👎👎🤮
    BTW...I've seen a lot of cancelled flights on the departure board, you know the reason for that?

      I thought the same as you when I was onboard that plane... it's completely inadmissible... I can write whatever I want... they will say that everything was to avoid the spread of the COVID...
      Any low-cost or legacy airline that I've flown till today had a better onboard experience...
      The departure board shows the original schedule for that day. Airlines waited till the very end to sell more tickets and then cancelled a lot of flights, regrouping all passengers in 1 flight or offering a voucher for the value, but not the money... To be honest, I had tickets with around 15 different airlines.... the only one that didn't cancel me any flight that I booked after 1st June was Ryanair...

    Very nice trip report! So sad that my national airline doesn't offer better service. I have flown with them serval times and I think you would be disappointed even if you flew before corona. They claim to be a full-service carrier but still only offer tea or coffee for free. If you want a pepsi for example, you have to pay for that. So even though they are my national airline, I often fly with other Full fare carriers.

      Some others told already that. I would never have expected that from SAS. I had a completely different about it... I don't know, something at a similar level as Lufthansa or Finnair... but they definitely far from those.
      I had other options that, for sure, they were a lot cheaper... but I wanted to show SAS on the channel. Some people were asking for it and, after many years, I had the perfect opportunity... I'm not planning to fly with them anymore after this. Maybe once all this COVID crisis ends I will try 1 flight with them to check I've they've really changed...

    Antes que nada aclararte que llevo muchos años volando y hasta hace poco era sobrecargo de Norwegian.
    Creo que deberian haber informado de que no habria servicio a bordo durante el vuelo cuando compraste el billete y asi pder llevar tu propia comida y bebida.Gran fallo .
    Pero que no pasen un servicio de bar en un vuelo relativamente corto y te parezca decepcionante simplemente por esa razon ....no se.No estoy muy de acuerdo.
    Por todo lo demas me encantan tus videos y me pregunto cual debe ser tu profesion para viajar tanto y filmarlo.

    Great report. I could not talk because i am Italian and Alitalia Is a shame since many years, continuing to fly only thanks to State aids and us taxpayers money, but the SAS inflight service is completely not existing! Yes, the airplane Is new, good legroom and better comfort with nei family aircraft but during the flight practically just the two pilots exist. Thanks for sharing.

    Airlines need to protect everyone, however, if you are handed a wipe on boarding, why not a small bottle of water too?
    I think to offer water on boarding would make a huge difference in these difficult times. I flew Ryanair recently and the crew delivered nearly all their normal inflight services.
    I don't think that is better, it is just a different 'offering' in these difficult times. I would prefer limited service to minimise risk, however, something is better than nothing. It is not an easy choice for an airline, as I imagine someone will always be unhappy, one way or another? I do, however, think that cost savings also play a large part in these decisions.

    You called that business class? No IFE. No extra legroom and 3-3 seat configuration in business class is overwhelming🤮 I can’t see the different between sas and Norwegian whereas Norwegian is a low cost.

    This was a dry flight. Cant believe the lack of hospitality from SAS. Not even the bare minimum was exceeded.

    OnBoardHD is wrong and right. He is right BECAUSE HE OWNES THE CHANNEL AND H HAS THE RIGHT TO RATE IT AS HE WANTS. But he is also wrong because THERE IS A VIRUS AND YOU CAN'T EXCPECT A GREAT FLIGHT

      I agree, you can’t expect a great flight. But can’t you expect a simple thing, such as water. 100€. Imagine paying that, when you could get the EXACT same service in economy. It’s sad. And this is not new, sas has always been like this. But they finally had an excuse because of corona.
