This Riviera'79 game is actually a kind of remake of Sega's original Monaco GP (here in Brazil I've played on a bootleg called 'Speed Racer" on the 80s) -- the Amiga version is looking great!
Yes you are right. This was originally part of my commentary but when my first attempt with the commentary ended up at 4:30 minutes, I had to make a number of edits to keep within the 3 minute theme of the series.
Thanks, I've been looking at doing a regular Amiga type round up for a few years but the quality of releases hasn't really been there until 2024. Hopefully we continue to see something other than straight arcade ports for the Amiga in 2025. As it stands, I have content to do another two episodes right now, so things are looking good.
Cheers, appreciate the feedback. Was a challenge to keep the commentary down to around 3:30 minutes. A lot of last minute edits to fit in with the Three in 3 theme.
Certainly is. It is so good to see quality new game releases for the Amiga rather than straight arcade ports that don't really have the Amiga characteristics o them.
No chart would be available unfortunately. Commercial sales info would fragmented across itch.io and small publishers that have come and gone over the years. Sale numbers of Amiga games would fall way short of the numbers for the C64. Based on my surveillance of the past 8 years, I would be very confident to say that Roguecraft would be one of the best sellers in recent times.
Happy New Year Louie. I really like the new format. Will you be doing '3 in 3' for C64 too? I'm glad to be able to use YT membership, Kofi is OK but as we've discussed previously, having to do that manually each month is a bit of a faff. Please keep up the good work!
Happy new year and thank you for switching over to YT membership - very much appreciated. The C64 coverage will receive a similar short form format but it will have a bit of news, pixel art and demos thrown in (essentially a mini C64 Round Up that will run for about 4 to 5 minutes). The VIC 20 will also receive a Three in 3 series.
@@RetroGamerNation That's good news. I particularly liked the pixel art and demos. I've also always loved the icon you gave me at the end of the videos. It doesn't quite look like me but it definitely looks the way I'd like to look! lol

Nice format!, You nailed it! 👾
This will be a perfect new show, I feel the C64 homebrew scene is well covered so it be great to see an Amiga focus too. Good luck with it

Nice , cool new series . Played Riviera 79 a few weeks ago and like it , classic old school arcade vibes
It is quite enjoyable but I came into the game thinking it was going to be something closer to LeMans for the c64.
Great idea for this new show!
Nice format, and good commentary.

Dr. Dangerous really looks good.
It is an enjoyable game and easy to get into.
Wow! Dr. Dangerous looks great. The other ones look nice too obviously.

Noice! I thought this was about an Amiga port of "3 in Three" from the Mac, but this is much better!🙂
Is there a chart of the top 50 games or something like that for games produced after the 90s?
