nijiryo is insane when u consider how nijika quite literally saved ryo's life the day nijika asked her to join the band. like 😭😭 "losing your uniqueness is equivalent to dying" and an old friend pointed out that her being on the rooftop and the episode being called "jumping girls" had some really scary implications for ryo's mental state before kessoku band. but because of nijika she's clearly happier now... 🥹💛💙 they're a very sweet black cat and golden retriever dynamic.
also heaven for death was a really good rpgmaker game that centers on those two and the impact of nijika on ryo's life. the developer did a very good character study on them, accounting for some interesting personality traits that weren't as explored in the anime due to its genre, such as ryo's compulsive lying and nijika's unconditional selflessness. so anyone who likes nijiryo, please support the game !!
Well said, i further elaborated Nijika and Ryo's synergy on my Nijika character analysis and will further elaborate on my upcoming Ryo analysis. But what you explained and mentioned intrigued me more on their dynamic.
I am yet to play Heaven for Death, but I will soon and might even make a game review. So thanks for recommending it!

@@lib6194 this was a month ago whoops!! it's just that the episode title being "jumping girls" and ryo making some kind of morbid comments, it's not completely out of the question. obviously it's a comedy anime so it probably really is not that deep, but there are some interesting connections to draw especially when that scene in particular had a strikingly different mood than the majority of the series.

@@nirika420 Nah, that's not an arc that's happened yet (and I doubt it would happen anyhow). That's why I used "nth" as it's some random, unknown album that they've yet to think of, let alone write. And debaucherous college parties are already a classic trope, so I'd see this as at least 5~6 years from happening.

PA-san's character gets a bit more developed in the manga, especially in a specific chapter of the Kikuri spinoff manga. But I do still understand these rating because going off the anime, she really has zero screentime. I'd recommend reading it.

Kessouku can be the story about a factious band with a 40+ year career arc. If so, intimate relationships between members is "off the table". Nothing completely destroys a band from within is coupling up or intraband couples breaking up. Couples polarize members because it creates a definite "voting block". (That is contrary to themes of Bocchi the Rock!")
Well said and I agree. At the end of the day these ships are the product of the fanbase, I still hope that no couples develop so that the band remains the same (it also allows for these ships to continue, if one becomes canon then it's over)

Personally, Boniji's my favourite ship for as long as I can remember. While yeah, my heart burns for Boniji, the fire in me ESPECIALLY burnt my entire jungle after AO3(don't judge). Seeing their dynamic develop into something so beautiful, like how Nijika saves Bocchi from her struggles(like whenever she goes into her own schizo moments, and that time where they first met), and Bocchi (tries, and SUCCESSFULY) saves Nijika in times of crisis(Like Nijika becoming Bocchi's hero or smth, blame AO3 for that), at this one specific time when they auditioned and there was a monologue of Bocchi saying "I want to make Nijika's dream come true", the part where they talked before the auditions, and ESPECIALLY their talk AFTER their first ever concert, like I can't put into words how much I love Boniji.
(But to be frank with you, the best ship is Nijika x me. I personally have a girlfriend who is EXACTLY like Nijika(except for the dead mom part). Fight me.)

Watching this video was an utter waste of time, it felt like every minute spent on it drained more neurons from my brain than I thought possible. The sheer disappointment of mine is beyond measure, and it has completely ruined my day. The wish for something insightful or entertaining was met with such profound letdown that it's hard to recover from. It's disheartening when expectations for quality content are dashed so thoroughly, leaving one feeling not just let down, but genuinely disheartened by the experience. (Boryo is at least S tier)
