- This video is about Brush Clearing with Ford 8600. Had some cleanup work to do in the edge of the hayfields so I decided to fire up the old Ford and put it to work.
Love the old Ford's too.My late father farmed with them, and I bought my first Ford last year. Thanks for the Video.
you should use this tractor more often
We got a 8000 its my favirte tractor
Farming keeps you a busy man.
It really does. When I’m not at welding school I’m most likely on the farm. I even come after classes most days. People wouldn’t think there’s that much to do between hay cuttings but there’s enough to stay busy
@@dawsonpresto745 I would think there's always something to do on a farm.
In the Winter mos there is all kinds of repair and maintenance to do.
I hope you can get a GoPro in 2020.
Hey why are the mud guards painted blue? Also does the flasher work because mine had a earthing issue in the top fixture the 2 plates that held the bulb in didn’t earth to the rest of chassis of the fixture, I’ll try to upload a video to my channel about how to fix it cus it gave me the run around
The fenders are blue because the tractor was repainted in the late 80's by someone my grandfather knew and from what i heard he painted them blue since he already had it mixed and ready to spray. The flasher hasn't worked for as long as I remember but I think the toggle switch on it is bad. But we never use it or drive the tractor on the road so we haven't bothered to fix it
The tractor should clean all that out easy enough, right?
I'd rather have the 8600 over any other tractor, except the 9700
Yeah it sure is a stout old beast
