You need to define what you mean by 'The *worst* motorsport crash'. To me, the worst are the ones that has a deadly outcome. These always involves a high g-force impact.
I'm sorry but when you chop up replays again and again especially right in the middle of the action and try to overly narrate it doesn't make it good, it hurts it, again sorry.
That was driving me nuts. I'm glad I wasn't the only one. Kept cutting it off and going to a different angle or something right in the middle of the crash. Let it freaking play through.
No matter how many times I see the Austin Dillon crash, I still shudder when I see it. Still one of the scariest wrecks in the modern era of Nascar. Ryan Preece also had a whopper of a crash earlier this year
When this vid popped up, I knew that there was going to be no legitimacy to it if Dillon's crash was not included. I was there, in the infield, and it was surreal, to say the least... Car going airborne was only half the story. Going from 190MPH to 0 in the catch fence was incredible. FORTUNATELY, the car went in wheels first.

The worst I have ever witnessed. I was at a race back in '69 or '70. They were called "Hardtops" back then. Now they are super modifieds. Anyways, I was 11 and my Dad sent me down to the concession stands to get a program and some Pepsi's. I was in the program line. The vendor asked me what I would like. I said, " A program..." then "CRASH". A car came crashing through the roof of the concession stand. It was at the outside of turn 3 & 4. The wreck caused it to flip over the wall. The wall was about 6 foot and the chain link fence was about 20 feet high. It was a 1/4 mile high banked speedway. The track was Kearney bowl. Believe it or not. No one was hurt. That was on a Friday night. Two days later the same driver did about a 20 flips on the front straight at Clovis speedway. He was fine after that wreck as well.
So many times his car made an impact, yet at 13:36 he climbs out, just like regular people coming out of a roller coaster. Ice runs through their veins

I understand the reason for chosing some collisions over others but I was surprised that the 1955 French 24 hour race didn't even get a dishonorable mention. One of the Team Mercedes cars collided with another car causing the Mercedes to crash into the large gathering of fans standing beside the track. 83 fans were killed while 120 plus were injured.
