      Could you maybe elaborate on this? I'm becoming a first time mum (a single mum) and wondered what she meant with that... May Allaah make everything easy for you and all the other parents that feel lonely

    • @farhanabegum7516
      @farhanabegum7516 6 лет назад +6

      Testator Silens personally i think its hard when you're the first one in your friendship circle to have a child. I felt no one could relate to me anymore so i felt more and more secluded. Also most of the time you worry about leaving your child (mother guilt) so can seclude yourself. This can make it feel very lonely, i have been feeling like this for a very long time, In Shaa Allah it gets easier

    • @hijabsettinginbirmingham387
      @hijabsettinginbirmingham387 6 лет назад +4

      Testator Silens ma sha Allah congratulations on your news, may Allah SWT make it easy for you too. Parenthood is one long journey, like everything out had it's up and downs, sometimes... More than often you'll feel like there are so many 'down' days and although you may be surrounded my friend and family it feels like your are going it alone, because your little one will depend on you, and no one but you will be able to provide that comfort, you'll feel exhausted and underappreciated, and no time for yourself...and like you've got nothing else going on but your little one. But don't let this put you down, there are so many rewards for everything you'll do as a mother, and there will be so many happy memories you'll create along the way. Just remember the way you'll feel won't last forever and your little bundle will grow up so fast... So take time out, relax, accept help and enjoy the ride. Hope this helps x.

    As a mom of 2 kids with special needs I completely understand the loneliness even when. you're surrounded by people. Being a mom is such a difficult job, we all need a break sometimes. I'm heading to my mom's this weekend to just eat and sleep while my hubby takes care of our boys.

  • @07naina
    @07naina 6 лет назад +72

    Perhaps the reason you feel so alone is because with time Sid has become your person and even though you have family around no one else gets your everyday struggles and emotions like Sid. But you still crave that attention from them like you did before you got married but it doesn’t happen anymore because you are officially a grown up woman/adult x

    I think more mums need to be more honest with raising children. I'm tired of seeing these RUclips mums putting the perception that bringing up a child is easy. Yes the good definitely outweighs the bad. I feel as though being a mum is so difficult cause we are already worrying about every little detail that we forget our children are going to grow up so fast.

    • @TheAninas
      @TheAninas 6 лет назад +32

      Zoey Brooke I’ve noticed that women that post the truth about raising heir kids tend to get a lot of hate. It’s really sad

    • @cathiyay1138
      @cathiyay1138 6 лет назад +17

      TheAninas I haven't seen it personally. But my point is mostly I think as a mother we need embrace the bad times as well as the good. These RUclips mums will pick up the camera to show their children behaving but we don't see the tantrums, the teething, sleepless nights etc. It all comes with motherhood. Which is why Dina is not alone when she says she feels lonely, that is because she feels her reality is different to everybody else that has a child.

    Yeeeessss!!! No other moms tell you or warn you about how lonely motherhood can be. Especially when you have babies/toddlers. Not even my own mom warned me about the loneliness, even though she experienced the loneliness as well. It was almost like a shameful part of her experience. As if the loneliness made her (or any of us less of) less of good mother's. 😮😵🙄

  • @nooraa965
    @nooraa965 6 лет назад +10

    I’ve been following you since your early days, and funnily enough got married the same time, had a child the same time - so I’ve ALWAYS found your content sooooo relatable! I love the raw emotion that you showed in this when you talked about being a Mum and feeling lonely. No one talks about it enough..and let’s face it “mum friends” seems to be this mythical thing people talk about having - but has anyone actually seen one, let alone have one?! I have friends, family - but when it comes to the Mum level - there’s no one that is relatable, as none of them have young children! And It’s like I’ve seen apps for making friends with other mums - but I feel like there’s more to a friendship than “just being mums”. Like we have our own personalities, interests, and we can’t just connect with other mums just because we share the same roles? There’s more to us as a person than just a “Mum” - which is how society kind of boxes us in..Being a mum is the most rewarding thing, and seeing these milestones of the littlest of things is the most rewarding thing for your heart - but at the same time, it’s the most challenging, and hardest thing that you’ll ever face. It’s frustration of wanting to control everything in your life, but when we’re talking two year olds - they control us! And it’s almost like you loose yourself a little as this becomes your life. Just always make sure to put yourself first when things get a little too much, because how will you be the best version of yourself - and most importantly for your child, if you can’t have that time to be a little selfish for yourself.

It was awful my child was ill on holiday and glued to me wouldnt even let me go to the bathroom alone. I ended up coming back after a week lost a lot of money on flights but my sanity was worth it. Mo Osman why? There's nothing wrong with you watching a womens channel, I don't understand why people are so desperate to create a divide between men and women that you can't even watch videos made by men or women. There's nothing inappropriate about it, we're all people and we shouldn't be segregated by gender

    I've always been afraid of dying certain ways, but dina put it perfectly to tie them together with a common factor, I don't want to die in fear. In fact, I've always thought dying OF fear would be the worst way to possibly go.

Especially love away from family and friends so it's difficult, even if I'm with them I still feel lonely. Honestly I'm glad u spoke about this, eyes filled with tears 😭

    I agree with Dina, and in my opinion being a woman in general can be lonely at times. What I mean is that even though my husband is great, he can't always understand my emotions, and my need for maybe a little too much comforting when I'm ill for instance.

    Aw Dina you're so naturally funny. Don't ever feel alone. You have thousands of friends here on RUclips you can talk to every day. Also, I would so love a Q&A with you and your dad about how he raised you and what you were like as a child. One day maybe? ;)

    Dinaaa..you are an AMAZING person and great mum..you really inspire me.. my dad is Egyptian too and i think he looks like your dad in personality but i actually knew that all fathers do the same thing towards their kids specially their GIRLS and i think who do this towards their kids is really a Man trying to protect them..their feelings are much hard to make us can understand why they do THAT.. the answer is protection.. LOVE YOU DINAA♡♡♡

    Crap felt bad when u cried x I kno what u mean in 30 and a mother of 3. And motherhood is lonely cuz we don’t have that nature interaction. We feel we need to be with our kids all the time and feel guilty when we leave them. It’s trying to find that balance xx we all with u in the same boat. Hope it makes u feel better x x
