I’ve personally never used a hammock, but everybody who uses them swears they’ll never sleep on the ground. But if on standard everything is fine like today patrol, hammocks are great. But in the shtf situation, I’d use a low profile tarp if stealth is needed. That low profile hammock set is an excellent idea when stealth is needed. Excellent video brother. And an excellent demonstration of using a hammock as a multi set up shelter.
Good video and multiple use of kit. I use a hammock a lot and wouldn’t hesitate to use it in most situations. “It depends” is a real thing. Hypothetically if I was on some kind of active patrol I’d probably ditch the hammock but in a bug out or get home situation with no one actively pursuing me it would be a good option - but you still have to be security minded with your R.O.N selection.

Way to hot for a bivi in the summer here. Id rather lay on the ground covered with misquote netting. Bivi comes out in the fall
