I can understand how you’re feeling right now in terms of art block. I was drawing frequently for a long time, and was starting to make some really big improvement, but then I just stopped. For over a year or so. I was just so busy and felt like I had no time so I just didn’t draw. I’ve started drawing again, and I forgot how therapeutic it is, but it can still be frustrating. Happy to hear you’re back on your inspiration wagon! Seems like we both got our spark back a bit 😊

Ahsoka is the goat of that show, originally invented as a Clone Wars original character (Anakin Skywalker's Padawan learner) she's become an essential part of the Star Wars extended universe now and has appeared in nearly every animated Star Wars spinoff, even appears in live action form in The Mandalorian! Oh yeah, and she dual wields WHITE lightsabers like a boss.

I'm so glad you finally got inspired to draw a character! I'm also in an art funk right now where art isn't really fun and all the art I draw seems to be automated like I'm a machine. Your Ahsoka art is just incredible!!! You should draw Star Wars character more often because they would look great in your style! I was dealing with a bit of art block this week until my brother and I started talking about our favorite Star Wars characters, and mine are, Ahsoka, Ventress, Anakin and Darth Revan. So when we were talking about them, it got me out of my artist block and I just started drawing Star Wars like crazy! lol

i know nothing about star wars but i love the ahsoka piece! irt what you said about rendering with one strong and direct light source: i feel you there, i hated doing that as well because it never made sense in my head until i started add the lighting without the base colors visible. idk why that helped me be able to visualize so much better but it did and now i'm obsessed with strong direct lighting because it's so fun LMFAO

Star Wars is based on Japanese Samurai Dramas. The Light Sabers are supposed to be like Swords. I learned this at Consolidated Theatres in Pearlridge in 2017 in Hawaii.
