The Making of GEM Stupa & the Construction of Level 3 @ BGF

BGF has always aspired to have a Saririka Stupa at the apex of the building as a source of inspiration for devotees practising at BGF, and to renovate the 3rd floor to host more Dhamma activities for the benefit of the community. With patience and devotion, the building committee overcame various challenges, especially during the pandemic, to bring this project to fruition in 2022.
The Gem Stupa, containing the relics of the Buddha, Arahants, and Ariya Sanghas, is set against the landscape of Bagan, the land of a thousand pagodas. BGF aims to provide a conducive environment for meditation retreats in the heart of Ara Damansara, accessible to city folks for spiritual cultivation through this project.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the generous sponsors and benefactors for their selfless contributions of effort, expertise, time, and funds for the construction of the Gem Stupa and the renovation of Level 3. This work extends the use of the Buddhist Gem Fellowship for Dhamma learning, practice, and propagation.
