Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily!
Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

This figure isn’t completely obsolete as he’s the only wolverine in the X-men suit. Hasbros look better but this one still has its place
Well, there was the movie 1 figure and i'm pretty sure there was another one from this line's 2nd or 3rd wave wich had a better headsculpt.
Agreed Plus figures have been improving with articulation since then

Parker Brown yeah definitely! A lot of the likenesses were pretty solid. I remember being creeped out by the mutated Senator Kelly that came with Jean Grey though lol. And the weird “wolverine suit” that came with Mystique

Just checked the news, how in the world did I miss this?! I legit spent last week thinking about buying the X-Men Film figures but after seing the prices, I realised it'd probably be cheaper to just create customs of them.
I was thinking of buying a James Marsden Cyclops too, but after those reveals, I'm pretty confident Hasbro will update the cyclops figure

Well, I don’t really want this figure since marvel legends is making them and it’s very good, what I really think would be cool is new Sam Raimi Spider-Man action figures. The toy biz ones were amazing. They deserve a remastered version.

The wolverine with the bike from the first movie had a variant that came in a two pack with a classic wolverine called "mutant evolution", that one was painted WAY better and actually looked a lot like hugh jackman.
I had this figure when I was a kid and I loved it As a kid I thought it looked a lot like Hugh Jackman. I can’t wait for the new Jackman figures!

I had this figure as a kid (still do somewhere). Always remember being annoyed that his right hand was open for some reason. I broke his right side claws off from playing with him so much!

I got this figure as a kid and I still own it to this day! Sadly all the claws came off on one of his hands, does anybody have an idea of what I can use to replace these claws?

There is a variant of this x-men suited Wolverine that actually has better head sculpt and actually resembles Hugh Jackman.. I think a customizer Myke De La Paz used it as base for his Wolverine movie custom.

I have this guy! Unfortunately it was incomplete, missing the soft plastic top part so I costomized him. But his paint-job (specially in the face) is still intact. 👍🏼

Found him at a flea market for $4, sadly who ever had him before me cut the claws off
I actually dont mind the background music. It solved the biggest gripe I had with your reviews. Whenever you were doing articulation, you were so close to the mic you could hear every little enunciation sound, which was annoying. With the sound ill watch your reviews again. Yo Joe!
