  • It's easy to say how much power a go kart makes by saying the power that has the motor, what about the power that makes at the wheels/axle? I will be using this project to answer that question. On this espisode I will be covering the software basics and the electronics for the speed sensor that we need. Thanks for watching!

    Por que te da dos masas distintas? No lo entiendo y por que finalmente escoges la de 30kg? Estoy en el proceso de fabricar un banco de potencia pero no tengo claro el calculo. Un saludo

      The main component is the squirrel cage rotor and then you model/build everything around it. Mine is a 50Kg from a three phase AC motor (ABB) brand, then you need the bearings to mount the rotor to the steel frame. I couldn’t get it working while testing electric motors mainly because the torque is almost constant, maybe I will try with a gx200 clone to see what values I get.
