@@snootking this Harry amass is just another illusion of united fans. Stop Just stop He is not ready. Hopefully malacia comes back early I won't even mind garnacho playing there Amass is not ready
The reason he plays through the center in build up especially in first phase is bc he knows most teams when they press will force team wide and use touch line like an extra man so he focuses on his team by passing press through center and then going into 2nd and final phase he uses his WBs to stretch and also interchange with the 2 #10s
Think he said struggled when defending the wide channels. That doesn’t mean he said he’s struggled on the whole. De Ligt is fantastic in central areas but definitely looks uncomfortable when defending 1 vs 1 in wide areas against fast players.
Amorim actually trusted many "kids" at Sporting Portugal.. he will use those kids 17 to 20 years gives them a chance..some of them are for the club to sell and make profits, balance FFP..Chelsea nd City, Leipzig ,benfica, sporting do this alot
Great analysis as always boys, and the flow of conversation is a lot better and less wooden and rigid. Really finding your groove with it. Maybe just one final tweak is to introduce Umir and let him have a hello, maybe ask "how's it going" or something in the first couple of seconds of the video, before you explain what you're gonna be talking about. Bc at the minute we don't hear him until you ask the first question. Idk will just make it seem more natural, to me at least. But I'm nitpicking this is great work guys keep it up!!
I reckon we get Brantwaithe in the summer and lisandro plays CCB instead of LCB to make the rotation into the double pivot more feasible, Amorim did a similar thing in Sporting where Inacio shifted to a CCB for LCB to avoid issues in Channel defending, also think Mount is tailormade for the front 3 especially from the left, can provide width too so temporarily we could play a right footed LWB too and have them too interchange. Great Video As Always!!
@@koalaorange. I don't think Everton have as much leverage as before, reckon we could get him for 50-60 million realistically which as fair for me, obviously a dream signing would be bastoni if its doable at the same price but you never know
@@strategicbread1629 50-60m is honestly still about 2/3 times what I'd pay for him. As we showed in the summer, we could get 2 top class players for that price from Europe
A right footed lwb will just not work. The lwb is supposed to hold width while the inside lw/left striker is tucked inwards. A right footed lwb would cut inside and negating the width
my question is will lisandro play the pivot role? sportings two pivots( the cb and cdm) mostly do bounce passes and are there to entice the opposition to press high to find the two number 10s behind , the problem is thats for the portugese league and having highly technical midfielders might be needed in the prem
Htomufc, Umir. Well deserved. You really hels your carda. I want to say umir because you are not united affiliated. But for hto, you can't do Manchester United without passion/emotion
Amorim doesn't necessarily have to play exactly like he does in Sporting. Coaches in Portugal are usually versatile and very often use very different tactics or nuances when playing with a weaker portuguese adversary and with a powerful club in the Champions. So just let him do his thing. His communication and the way he relates to the players and motivates them are probably his main strenghts. For obvious reasons, Ugarte and Bruno Fernandes will probably be ver important players in the new Man United.
Maguire/Evans could play that CCB role as they’re good with both feet. Casemiro can play that role too, because based on the analysis CCB doesn’t have that much role in the build up. Casemiro could switch play to either wings or play vertical. Xabi Alonso uses Andrich as CCB.
Malacia isn’t far away. No idea where you got that. He’s been in training for weeks now and close to a return. So if RA is coming back after the next international break, Malacia will be back.
And United wasn't ever a case of unfulfilled potential. They were and still are a subtop squad totally destined to battle for 4th no matter the system and a club with no real pull in the transfer market because they are nowhere near the club top players want to play for. Amorin isn't the savior, he's the next head for the guillotine.
Hey guys, forgive me if I’m wrong, but I’ve heard the Amorim has played a back 4 at times due to injuries - do you think given the nature of the squad he may do the same with United until he feels we have everything we need? Or do you think he just jumps straight into the back 3?
Assuming this is probably how we'll set up and Fernandes plays in one of those two positions behind the striker, does this mean that Rashford, Garnaco and Amad are competing for one position...? 😮
Because Amorim's 'wing-backs' play more like wingers than full-backs, I can't see Mazraoui playing in that role unless we're trying to be more defensive. I think he's more likely to get minutes in the back 3, so it'll be interested to see if he can play at centre back or not.
in his first season at sporting, we played with Pedro Porro and Nuno Mendes as wingbacks, they are both natural fullbacks, not wingers, the system is adaptable for the players you have available
@nunoboss8 both of them are a lot more attacking than Mazraoui, and better at dribbling. I can see Dalot in the wing-back role, but I'm not certain it'll work with Mazraoui, but I guess we'll see.
