Boil the cauliflower? You do. If you haven’t put it in the oven yet, maybe try baking it for a longer amount of time on a lower heat so that the cauliflower cooks through. Report back and let me know how you go.
I just made this, using disssolved bullion for the broth, and i have to say I wasn’t that impressed. It was too salty, with too much paprika taste, and the cauliflower itself tasted watery. I wanted to really like it though...
I’m sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy it. It’s been a really popular recipe so I’m not sure where it could have gone wrong for you. I would say that the cube would have added a decent amount of salt so that’s maybe why it was too salty. Paprika in this should be quite subtle but it really comes down to personal preference. Did you drain the cauliflower well and bake it for long enough? It certainly shouldn’t be watery. I hope you have better luck next time!

I haven’t tried it with anything else but maybe sunflower seeds or white beans. Use less liquid if using white beans.
