Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.

My heart cries out for the people in this world who don't know you yet and for the ones who do know you but are not awake to what is happening and not seeing the signs of your very soon return. I always had this question in my mind, on how to pray ,to me praying was so difficult I wasnt sure if I was praying enough or am I praying right ,but after hearing Charles spurgeon, I am not afraid anymore, now I want to pray even more ,now I can pray from my heart, such power in his sermon, thank you lord that even today Charles words still has power to bring change

On my way to the University of Essex, I would pass the front door of Charles Spurgeon's home which bears a plaque on the outside in Kelvedon, Essex with his name - the proximity of a mere stone throw away from my home in Witham, Essex...What is so sad is the fact that had #CharlesSpurgeon to awake from his dusty bed to see the condition in Britain today & even his hometown - he would ask God if his works of righteousness while alive were to no avail... What a #BlessedSaint & #MessengerOfGod...

Amen. Let us pray for others. As much as we pray for personal problems, add the rest of the church to get help in all they need. We know that God has infinite amount of resources and He answers all ernest prayer. How many people would be helped if we included them in our prayers?
You pray for your career, then add the rest of the church. You pray for safety in your family, then add each and everyone who calls to God's name for the same and as for unbelievers, you pray that they may come to God with broken repentant spirits.
