France being considered a minor nation is entirely gaijin's doing. They made it so few can afford to grind up the tech tree (even now) and the nation is stuck in a negative feedback loop as long as gaijin uses the SL and player stats combo to balance vehicles. The nation has a ton of vehicles left to be implemented and the current tech tree doesn't reflect it's potential.

@@sheevpalpatine7588 No ? China is an entire another problem. Their tech tree is a lot of copy/paste, but it's understandable, and they get the best vehicles out of usa and Russia. Their TT isn't filled with entire lineups with 30k+ repair cost, and they got many vehicles over the last updates.
France doesnt get a lot of love because the people who play it seem to use their brains more which makes france have much much higher stats than any other nation, this leads to gaijin thinking they are OP in some way so they increase repair costs or some other shit.
As a french main its taken me 2 and a half years of pain and torture from gaijin to get to top tier, Was it worth it?
I really wish Gaijin gave the Leclerc its AZUR armour kit - it would’ve been a really neat addition, and would’ve given some extra protection against HEAT-FS and ATGMs. Oh, and how can we forget about the OFL F2?

@@zora007 Crunching the numbers with their own calculator, it would be around the performance of dm53/63 (same round, different powder between 53 and 63)
They probably will add it later as a modification, same happened to the t64b and t72b
@@zora007 you do realize dm53 would have upwards of 800mm of pen irl, but gaijin makes sure to balance this in game, this thing would alsp face a similar nerf and fhis would be clear if you have looked at any of the top end war thunder apfsds rounds in the game, how is this thing op when the 2a6 has been in the game for over a year now when no other nation had even a close equivalent?

France, a nation that has created more vehicle and planes than Germany pre and post WWII is the minor nation in that era while Germany is the major. France deserve to be consider a major nation.

France, along with China, are one of two nations in-game that have so many potential but are being developed sooooo slowly. France has a lot of IFVs and wheelie bois but we hardly see any of them in-game save for the 10RC. look at China too? it's been 2+ years since their release and boom, no IFV past 7.3 and 11.0 ground vehicle? lololol

Gaijin needs to give the S2 and XXI the depleted uranium round they had available! That was their problem when they added the S2. Sure they desperately needed a backup but they still could have went ahead and given it the better round. Now they add the S21 and still no better round which was available along side the S2.
Shame on Gaijin. Why add almost copies for a total of 3 without any noteworthy differences. It’s a waist of time for everyone
S21 had different new rounds from S1 and S2. It entered service with the 120 Fx-B series (+50% penetrator from 120 Fx-A series)

About firing from the commander sight, if you have a laser rangefinder, you can range your target, and the centre cross will be where your shell will land, negating the sight offset
There's still offset, maybe some convergence/divergence at a certain range

I am a minor tech tree main so to speak with a lack of better words. I love the LeClerc MBT line even if this one is way to most painful grind.
For the jet sounds, just had a thunderbird air show and they are so loud i think they are spot on

I got my first nuke today in a 2a6, loveley game with finally some good teammates
Also the jet sounds are realistic. Maybe could be a bit quieter for gameplay sake but my only complaint is the fact you KNOW they are gonna change then again and ruin it
The Leclercs are great but missing something.
It's either a little bit more firepower, or mobility, or armor ... But they're definitely missing something to become one of the best MBTs in the game. Sure, they're good as of right now, but not as competitive as the Leo 2s, Abrams or STRV-122s.
I'd love to see it get the 5 seconds reload it should historically get. It would definitely justify it still having a 575mm in 2022.
Yeah it should just get a 5 second reload considering it sacrifices its loader for an autoloader. As well if you ace the top NATO 120mm tanks they have a 6 second reload regardless.
@@Kwisss Yeah, on a NATO MBT, sacrifying a crew member for a 6 seconds autoloader is kind of a bad trade in my opinion.

While the S21 is 1 more addition to the French top tier tree it doesn't offer any different from the previous MBTs, the only difference may be the panoramic CITV but it doesn't matter to be fair.

Just as well, I'm pretty sure people who complain about jets being too loud are the ones who adjust the sound volumes in the menu for the purpose of trying to gain an advantage.

I have seen Abrams’ a total of around 10 times out of my 5000 hours play time... it’s always leopard 2 and T-64 72 80 90 tanks

If only they could correct the Leclerc's UFP because atm it gets penned by 105mm APFSDS, it's ridiculous, how is this even remotly accurate. And then give the S2 and the SXXI the OFL F2. Would bring it back.

I don't have any US merkavas and don't play the UK so in your opinion do you think Israel will suffer Chieftain/Challenger syndrome in upper/higher tier games with their main MBT line being the Merkavas? I know we won't really know til we get our hands on the full tech tree/line ups but would appreciate your thoughts.
I do believe they will suffer, Israeli tanks and IFV’s are all defensive weapons, same as the UK. It’s all about crew survivability and firepower, not mobility.
It’s the reason I believe they should not be there own tree, more like an extension of another tree like South Africa.

merk 4 will be competitive with its better engine rating.
It’s all about power per ton, the mk4 might have a more powerful engine, but it’s also heavier I believe. Also we do have to wait and see what they add to the tech tree, and how they’ll act in game because how they act IRL and how they act in-game are two very different things.
Shame it doesn't get a new round, Japan got a new MBT with a new shell as well, now of course Japan was kind of obsolete so it deserved that big buff but so does France, Gaijin should stop pretending the OFL F2 doesn't exist, even the M1A2/Leopard 2A5 received a buff and it wasn't necessary.

this thing should be way better but now the leclercs are just the 2nd worst top tier MBTs besides the ariete. The armor layout is worse than any other mbt at 11.0, the mobility is nothing to scream about, the reload should be 5 seconds on the SXXI, turret rotation not the greatest. It's honestly sad how these tanks could be way better but aren't

@@nathanwong5644 OK, i'd rather go with the f2 with known performances in this case, largely comparable to DM53 anyway, if not superior. I'd want a HE shell for the memes too. As for the 5s reload, if they give it to one Leclerc, they can give it to all Leclercs.
F1B is literally the same penetrator and same performances as the F1, except with "MURAT" powder charge that is less sensitive to being shot at.
The loading computer didn't even need an update to account for it, it's just an F1 with a different powder charge.

About those challies, i love the design of th tank but the TES and ERA upgrades for the tanks ruin them for me. I just got my first challie 2 and havent taken it out but i wanna know does the armor upgrade bring in substantual help other than reducing mobility?
The side protection will help a bit against chemical rounds very rarely even APFSDS or ATGMs but most of the time it will not make such a huge difference.

Grinding 3 times the same tank and having "a lineup" feel useless. Don’t get me wrong, this tank is fun to play and I still love it but I think France should get more light tanks. Like the AMX 10P as an IFV and the NEXTER VEXTRA as a stabilized wheeled gun. Btw love your camo on the SXXI
If Gaijin can gives us the VEXTRA with the TML 105 turret or the POLE turret with the 120 FER, then all is forgiven.

i would like to know what drugs EXACTLY are you using when you said the Leclerc is a very good all around tank or MBT? 40 mm od armor around the gun ( a HUGE BIG BOX OF 40 mm). Meaning you get one shot all the time though the gun mantlet because the round goes directly to the ammo storage behind it. I died at least 100 times this way in any Leclerc. IT has absolutely no Hull armor and fat useless side cheeks that no one EVER SHOOTS AT. No chemical protection for ATGMS and that huge commander sight is a one shot chance for any heat fs or HE round. As someone who has over 3k hours in WT i can honestly say that the Leclerc alongside Ariete is the worst MBT in the game... hands down , not even close. i would even say that Ariete is better cause if you play hull down you cant get one shot through the turret in Ariete because all the ammo is low in the hull. With the Leclerc i get one shot(ammo rack) through the gun ALL THE TIME because there is 70 mm of armor altogether to get to the ammo storage.
The leclerc is very good and quite fun with his mobility, I Always play it like a light tank because of the weak point in the armor. It's might not suit your playstyle, that Would explain why you seem to do so poorly with it
@@Grassouillelafripouille first of all UNLIKE you i dont assume anything, only idiots do. Second i have 3:1 kill to death ratio on all of my leclercs . If thats poor you need to go back to arcade or world of tanks. Thirdly there is a huge difference in hitting a weak spot that is a size of 2-4 pixels on a screen and shooting basically anywhere you want( thats how bad leclercs armour is). T80 bvm and any abrams version are just as mobile as leclerc is but offer more survivability(protection and armour) . Playstyle has got nothing to do with facts. Fact is Leclerc is a very bad tank COMPARED TO OTHER MBTs. in fact many agree its the worst MBT in the game right now. Sure any MTB can be played to perfection but regarding armor, firepower, mobility , turret rotation speed ,sight ( zoom and thermals quality) leclerc is by far the worst tank out there design anbd armor wise . Thermals dont give you any edge at all, firepower is the same as others. Also the only tank i oen shot all the time when playing other nations is the Leclerc. EVERY SINGLE TIME.

I rate the Leclerc as the 4th best MBT in the game. The best being T80BVM, second being M1A2, Third being Leopard 2A6, 4th being...any kind of Leclerc really. Leclerc dies as easily as any other nato MBT save for the STRV 122 but that thing is more of a boat than a tank. It's a good tank with its weaknessed, what trully kills it is the wrongly modelled UFP... Hopefully the day this will be fixed, it'll be one of the best, if not the best tank in the game.
@@monfortnicolas5448 i would disagree. Strv has insane armor but lacks firepower so you need to know how to shoot. ZTZ is overall better then Leclerc because it has the same speed(mobility), firepower and more armor then Leclerc. Even the Challenger 2 is better because it can soak up so much damage in top tier. The top 3 tanks are always going to be GER/RUSSIA AND USA for everyone. My Favorite was always Leo 2A6. Ariete and Leclerc are the worst 2 MBTs in the game and i have all top tier tanks unlocked . I have 3:1 KDD with all of my Leclercs and i still strongly believe that it is the worst MBT in the game. Leclerc is the only MBT in the game that can be ONE SHOT frontally through the turret ( huge gun box). Ammo rack every single time. Ive personally killed so many Leclercs this way im happy when im playing against france cause its a easy one shot. Just aim in the upper right or left corner of the box and its a insta kill. Its basically a type 10 but wih a 6 second reload. If i wanted to play a tank with no armor i would rather play type 10 then the leclerc. Until that huge turret box around the gun is fixed it will always be the worst tank in the game because no matter how much armor you give it you can still ammo rack through the gun mantlet every single time... 70 mm of protection. The only tank in the game that can be one shot through the turret no matter if you are hull down or not. so hiding behind rocks and mountains and peeking/shooting around corners/hills is the only way to play this tank somewhat effectively .
Going into 2022, servers still suck. Random packet loss, and ping jumps into 150+.

Give it its proper pen, OFL f1 600mm, give it its OFL F2 at 690mm , at the proper range (wich are available in almost any article on the internet from wikipedia to the tank enciclopédia by the way gaijin), give it its outstanding mobility and acceleration that is also available everywhere, and you won't need 17 versions of it except for upcoming up armored XLR. France is out BR'd Out repair costed Out almost everything in that shit game. Last bit of fun was the EBR 51 thrown to 4.7 when the M-24 is still 3.7 for another shitty reason (just shove that excel sheets up your.....). ("at last we give you a regular tech tree EBR but appart being a WT genius or just using the goggles, you won't make much of it because you'll face 5.7 monster armor that U won't be able to scratch beyong 150 meters, 75% of your games, with no other tank to follow, so deal with it frogs). We have almost no complete line up in the "real fun" zone, our "real" vehicles are still on the bench while we get stuff that we never had. where are the M4a1 76, M47 Amx 13 twin 30mm SPAA, m26, m46 m-24. We don't ask for the moon, just to be treated like a regular not suffering nation in the game.

Hey Justin just a suggestion - I believe you should make your vids have more fun factor. Right now they're serious breakdowns of vehicles and gameplay, but anyone could analyse a vehicle in their hangar and play it - you need to make more reason to watch YOU do that. Maybe funny edits and memes, maybe find your own niche among other RUclipsrs. It needs to be entertainment. You have a quality set up and are very comfortable with making videos - it's time to take it up to the next level. Not trying to be toxic, rather give feedback. Anyone else any thoughts?
