I lost my Mum 8 months ago to cancer. She took me to my first Pearl Jam concert in Sydney, every one of her passwords in life were "Pearl Jam" I am glad I had the influence of greatness in her life. Seeing this show, I knew mum was with me from the start to the very end. I could never see Pearl Jam again and would be totally fulfilled with what I felt, heard and experienced that night. It was my church for real. I feel like I've been reborn, and I'm not even religious
Whoever went to this concert in Sydney got the best tour setlist! I saw them in Auckland, but didn’t hear them play Nothingman, Last Kiss and other classics in Sydney! You’re lucky af :)
I love the part in PJ’s 20 documentary where Jeff describes the music to Release as just a slow jam the guys were messing with during the initial practice sessions with Eddie. Eddie turns it into a masterpiece. Brilliant.
20 years ago in Sydney entertainment centre. Last pearl jam concert I seen. First time he sang throw your arms around me on acoustic guitar. Best I ever seen. Although 23rd at Engie was pretty awesome.
I cried so hard when they opened with this. Thanks for sharing it.
