Not going to try for a line for line translation because I get the gist of it but not every word (I’m swedish) but... the musical is about an apocalyptic world where men and women live apart - and there is a revolution going on in the women part because of pocket sizes. Cruella, the leader of the place, prefers smaller pockets because it makes your bum look bigger, but the revolutionaries want bigger pockets so you can drag more shit around. And “lommemannen” would translate to “the pocket man”, he makes pockets. So the song is basically about a man measuring and sawing pockets and his friends singing about what a great guy he is. (And if any Norwegian with some time on their hands happen to cruise by and want to make a translation... please!! I get all the Tarjei and Lommemannen lines, but I miss some vital words from the last guy 😳)
