I discovered Dan’s channel something like six months ago, and have already finished the entire channel and joined his Patreon. I’ve never had that reaction to any other artist before. He just can’t seem to do a bad cover.
Yesterday was my ten-month anniversary. I love everything he's done, and I agree - he couldn't do a bad song for anything.

I would love to hear your analysis of how Dan pulls off the high screams in his Beast in Black cover “Blind and Frozen.” He also has some great low notes in the same song.

You should listen to his Nightwish cover "I Wish I Had An Angel" and watch his great facial expression there. And his newest cover: "My Mother Told Me (Song Of The Vikings)". I'm from Germany and discovered your channel by chance and find your reactions very interesting. Not only the ones about Dan ;-)
Very good voice and interpretation style.
What his tongue is doing almost makes his pseudo-operatic voice take on a throat-singing sounding edge.

I hear that interesting vocal hollowness of Seattle grunge in places which is a nice addition.

There’s a reactor here on YT that is a huge Dan fan; Viking Reacts. He created a “fan project” or mashup of Dan singing Last Ride of The Day as Nightwish was singing it. I think he also did the same for Ever Dream. It was really something incredible; they sounded great together. Hail VascNation ❤
I'm a Nightwish fan since 2000. And i loved that song with Tarja.
Now i love the new Nightwish with Floor. I stumbled on this version with Dan per chance a few month back (thank you Covid 19) and was baffled but enjoyed it very much.
Great reaction and i appreciate you telling us about his voice techniques. I love how athletic he is while singing. It adds a lot of energy and life to the performance. Also, I get the sense that he loves moving to music.
