roger that good buddy, but for me it was more like 30 seconds including the host, or a measure or two.. they or she is in SF tonite and I am so destiny takes a hand.
The 2 million KEXP channel subs that haven’t yet listened to this really ought to. Even if they think they’re not fans of the genre(s) this act falls under , well worth a minute . just to be certain-sure there’s nothing here for them.
I like how the pieces come together here. I was sold by the 3rd song with the keys and guitar frolics. By the 4th song it's a done deal. Her voice feels like a primary color. It's great to see a musician's authentic smile because she loves the sound being made. Nice work. I love the balance of sounds and notes.
Holy smokes - Kassi Valazza is one mighty fine talent. It is a privilege and a pleasure to listen to her mutllti-layered songs and look forwards to purchasing all she has released. This is a talent that is just gonna get better and better, like a fine whiskey.
Love her sound, this kind of alternative modern country is getting really big these days but I think this is the best version of it i've come across. Great stuff!
In the world of music, it's sometimes considered gauche to refer to the beauty of the artist, as if that mitigates talent. - But music is an art .. it appeals to the spirit .. the right brain .. and it paints pictures with sound. But it's a picture, none the less. Watching Kassi perform I feel such deep musical impact .. while simultaneously falling into her charm. -- I just found her an hour or so ago. And I feel like a found a new star on the horizon.
Every once in a while RUclips sends me a notification on a band I've never heard of. Sometimes I'll listen, most of the time I won't. But I'm forever grateful that I went with the former on this one. Over 31 minutes of bliss⟵(*❛‿❛) And I loved every second of it.
Same. I would listen to everything I'm subscribed to, or recommended, if I had the time. At least once. But I almost always skip or save to a "Music for Later" -type playlist. So glad this one came up on that playlists' shuffle.
There's never been a better time to be alive if you love music. If you use it to soothe or excite your soul. So long as one is willing to look for it! This no matter your genre, style, speed, and sound preferences.
This music is perfect, a very spiritual experience. I was kind of annoyed that the host says he ranked her album number three. You telling me there's something better than this? Yeah, I don't think so. Very talented, I hope her and her band go far! The fact that she is a gorgeous redhead is an added bonus 😉
Thank You Kassi and musicans for this little concert! Yeea! I could play this for all nite long. Honestly, I dont like country at all, but You made me change my opinion with your music! ... Thank You KEXP for saving this gem for today, when tube is full of crappy home-live-recordings. I try to keep an eye on every upload appearing here. Greetings from Finland
While I see exactly what you are saying about the new/old, I have embraced the growing Kassi and enjoy the newer stuff just as much as the old. This was my intro to her and I've seen the change. I was bothered by it as well. I adjusted. She's worth it! Go Kassi!!
I need a full run down of the synth sounds the keyboardist is using. It sounds so good with this. It almost gives off pedal steel vibes during some songs but also sounds like string and wind synth. Good stuff. I'm really into guitar pedals but I'm just now learning about keyboard/synth effects despite playing piano for like 15 years
I've become a big fan of Kassi Valazza as a singer and songwriter but I have two criticisms about things that appear in a lot of her videos. First is the amount of reverb. It's too much and makes her sound like she's singing from the bottom of a well. The second is the mismatch between her vocals and this guitarist's choices with his accompaniment. I think her mic level in this video is too low and the electric guitar accompaniment too forward. Her bass player and drummer are great. I'm not a Troll and just someone who did some recording work with bands a long time ago and giving some constructive criticism.
I know , it’s really distracting . And it was clearly distracting for Kassi as well . I love it when Cheryl Waters interviews/hosts shows , though. Maybe if they used a mic less “hot” or? That didn’t pick up everything ? Another KEXP show , an older one , with Aldous Harding was equally as awkward. Dude was either horribly nervous or something else embarrassing and awkward .
Chino Valley is NORTH of Prescott. Not between Prescott and Phoenix. Shes either a liar or doesn't have a sense of direction. Great singer but shit... I got stoked and then pissed.
She’s recalling memories from her childhood, those are always fuzzy. Maybe her parents liked spending the extra time with her taking the scenic route. Take a chill pill.
Really? I think KEXP always does interviews during the live in studio performances. I enjoy it. They have so many newer artists on the show that I'm always wondering who they are and where they're from
Sometimes you hear two seconds of a song and you know you have found a new band to like. This happened here.
True

I spent a lot of time between phoenix and prescott, through your music i can see it all again or feel it anyway ❤

Her voice gives me goosebumps.
Fantastic voice. I am so happy I have seen her live in Sweden.
i think we going though a musical renaissance this is awesome
That weird guitar sound makes it their own and sounds so cool! Thanks!

Two words to describe her: Hidden Treasure.
So wistful to hear such music. I just want back these days where 'the world was still ok'. Headphones on - eyes closed and enjoy your trip!
Wonderful session with Kassi Valazza and band, Dear Dead Days is a great album!
This music sounds so grounded and down to earth🌸🌾

This band is fantastic! Unbelievable! ❤️♥️❤️♥️
Very nice, thanks keep, not heard Kassi before and really enjoyed her. Great band as well.

I love KEXP bands.
Amazing talent nd s voice that shreds my soul and reassembles it fairly intact. The music moves me to my bones.
Extraordinary voice!!! Great Band too!I I love it.
Kassi - Gratings from Germany - love your musical tempo - little bit Patsy Cline - we hope we can travel very soon to see you live.F-Film is a Fan.

Wow! Thanks, Kassi!!! Awesome music here . . .

Solid Gold 👌
Great energy wrangling, well done.
Really dig this Alt Country sound, just haven't made up my mind about the psych guitar tones though but its growing on me .
That is just some damn fine music.
Lot of LOVE
What a great set!
New fan right here!!
Brilliant performance!
This was awesome, thank you, Kassi has a new fan.
I love this western music with a modern twist. Her voice reminds me wee bit of Patsy Cline. They sound terrific!
Like Ever Before has classic Patsy all over it. I'm here for it.
I'm IN! ♥
Oh this is so good
So good.
Great! Nice guitar playing (and a good instance of a lot of delay and/or reverb actually being effective in a live context)
I loved!
One more great band!
Super cool! Killer songs and jammin’ !!
i love this so much !
Soooooo good!
great sound!
Wonderful, a joy to listen too :-)
Kassi makes me miss Arizona
She´s Gorgeous...
Wow!
Wow! Nice.
Mary just sent me flying
I have recently watched videos of the "new" Kassi Valazza. I wan the original Kassi. She was original and the band had a definite unique vibe. Bummer!
While I see exactly what you are saying about the new/old, I have embraced the growing Kassi and enjoy the newer stuff just as much as the old. This was my intro to her and I've seen the change. I was bothered by it as well. I adjusted. She's worth it! Go Kassi!!
This is DAMN good band.
завораживающе, спасибо! :)
That keyboard player looks like one of those giants from Game of Thrones. Really badass
Won-Won !

Coming to Phoenix, oh yeah.
good stuff
love
That first song is like country meeting a celestial guitarist from the stoner rock realm.
Tebrik ediyorum
She reminds me so much and in a good way of Paula Frazer and her band Tarnation.
McLovin on guitar!
Wow
#dahmn woman...you and that fat gibson. my heart.
29:40 was badasss
Kassi and "The New Eagles"
A weird mix of Dolly Parton & Jefferson Airplane. This works.
Exactly!
That's the best description I've ever heard. She's our Peyote Coyote!
I like turquise top, I have a ring turquise too :))
Damn
Do caralhoooooo
Вот это круто!
l LlKE
white shirt need to transfer to an electric band and or full down
I don't now if i 'm the only than think of their voice is like a the song of sandy in spongebob
I looked up sons of pioneers, I am trying to find some of her dads music. Anyone else?
um super Chris Issak vibe here
the american cranberries?
Her eyes are so haunted. She has seen some heavy things...
McLovin!

Kassi rocks, but host's cottonmouth ruined the interview portions, unfortunately.

pointless self-indulgent interview ruined the flow

3 of 4 instrument players need to turn off..
Love Kassi's voice. Guitar guy is too much, get him outta here. She can kill it sitting by herself with her guitar. Host seems like a creep.
November 2nd live in Antwerp @djingeldjangel
Fantastic voice and I so happy I have seen her live in Sweden.
