ColourPop has been in a "well TECHNICALLY they're not the same shade so we might as well make a whole new palette" era as of late and I'm pretty over it tbh
I hear ya, but I kind of feel like a lot of their releases are like that. Like they come out with something and then a bunch after a kind of the same shades but just baaaarely different, like they were failed ones for the initial one 🤷♀️ I guess makes sense given how much they release. But still. Like I get there’s only so many color combos to come up with and they’ve come out with soooo much that it’s hard to be unique, but if you have a factory of your own I feel like you could venture out some and do some unique combinations of colors that aren’t done all the time. MAYBE it wouldn’t do that well, who knows, but since they have a factory of their own and can put stuff out so quick, it wouldn’t kill them to give it a try 😂

I genuinely just want the Malibu Barbie and Sol/Mar palettes back.
I actually would like a matte shade with glitter if you can see it on the eyes and they don’t blend away or fall away.
It runs even cooler than Stone Cold Fox and Of Quartz and you basically had me at “Companion for Troublemaker” lol 🤷🏻♀️

When I was little, there was a store in our mall called Cloud 9. They sold all sanrio items. Loved that store so much! We always got our school supplies from there. This palette looks exactly like their logo.
From the looks of it I actually really like the Cloud 9 palette 😍 From the comparisons I only own the That's Taupe palette and I like that the shades in the Cloud 9 palette seem to have a lavender hint instead of the the brown-ish or rosy hints or shades. I will keep this one in mind and see how I feel about it in a few months time ☺ Thanks for the video and comparisons!!

I love the cool-toned grays in this collection! But I agree, the shades are too similar and we're missing a shifty or two.

I think the inside reminds me of a lightly cloudy day and the outer package gives me unicorn cloudy or siren scales but if you are going for soft Smokey it’s a pretty way to deep your toes specially if you are not very skilled with black

Way to be on top of the release! I just did a quick search and nobody else has reviews out yet. I concur, it looks like a lovely starter palette. If I'd never bought colourpop before I'd probably get that and 11:11 to use together and enjoy them a lot cause I do love my neutrals and metalics/pearls. My collection comes close enough though!
I have a feeling they will be releasing this and 11:11 together in a holiday set. Same size palettes and both have a whimsy aesthetic.

I'm literally only interested in one shade which is Make Dew. Totally Cirrus caught my eye but they are so similar it's basically the same. I wish they would take those two and gone a different direction with them with like ethereal blues and other shades.

Thanks for showing the comparisons. I do not look good with warm tones at all and have always stayed away from colourpop because of that. I'm actually going to get this palette though because it looks to be truly cool toned instead of cool leaning.

I don’t like most of the shades but I will buy it for the palette! I’m so glad they did the larger pans so I can swap them out for some sparkly iridescents.
Even though these cool toned neutrals are exactly my jam, this palette looks very one dimensional. I thought every palette you compared it to looked more interesting, tbh.

I am so glad you said you don't feel the need to get Natasha Denona! I have three of her palettes and to be very honest, I don't see the hype. Sure, they're nice. But they are in no way the greatest formula on earth like everyone makes them out to be. And this is coming from someone who has palettes by just about every brand known to man, I have 587 palettes, so I'm pretty sure I can say that with confidence!!! I'd much rather get Bella Beaute Bar or Gourmand Girls, Unearthly Cosmetics, or Glamlite if I want excellent quality shadows and they are much cheaper. Well, most of the time. Some indies are starting to get bold with their pricing.

From the look of it, this reminds me of a Marc Jacobs palette that was really beautiful. I am so tempted by the new Natasha Denona, but I no longer buy outrageously priced palettes. The thing is, Colourpop almost always disappoints me, so even though this color story screams me, I just don’t know. But thank you for the review because I never would have known about this one.

I'm disappointed it doesn't have the icy blues that it claims. The first half of the palette really is redundant. It could've been made into a 9-pan.

Yeah, they missed the mark not doing some pink, purple, green, coral soft iridescent color-changing colors like on the cover. I have most of those colors already in other palettes so PASS for me.
Since Colourpop palettes are magnetic, I’d be curious to see what version of this palette you would create using shades from other palettes.

The first half of the palette is hilariously similar. Yeah, I want it for one shade (Ecstatic) the purple. I could add a purple under a silver from Stone Cold Fox to get the shade. I'd rather buy Troublemaker.

Cloud 9 is going to be my travel palette, so I don’t have to bring my favorite Stone Cold Fox palette.
I honestly don't know what to expect from colourpop, it seems like every new release has barely any thought put into it and the quality isn't even there. The 3 shadow stix they released for Halloween have been their most exciting release in months. I'm just disappointed in the new direction colourpop seems to be heading

I actually want/need a cool tone affordable palette but this probably isn't it. Maybe Stone Cold Fox or Rock Candy
I wish they would try something new. I wanna see some super metallic foiled shadows and some duo chromes, but they keep putting out the same dry shimmer shades that are just glittery. I don't want glitter, I want buttery chrome shadows, ya know. I'm just not a fan of their shimmers at all.
How many matte black with silver pinpoints do we need? If they are going to force the pinpoint shadows at least switch up the shades! This was looking cute to me until the rock candy comparison. I love that palette, so this isn't a need/want for me anymore. If I didn't have that I might still give it a go!

Colourpop’s palettes are so redundant. If it weren’t for their supershock shadows I wouldn’t buy anything from them.
I'm so surprised by how much those first few shades look alike in terms of colour but with different finishes. What a disappointment. Reminds me somewhat of my Smoke Show/Blowin Smoke palette but the 9 pan palette is so much better.
Your always my go to for any colourpop release. I agree the packaging is cute but I wont be buying it.

Hi how does this palette compares to their Cloud Blue palette?
The only thing they have in common is the word Cloud 🤣 On Cloud Blue has all blue shades and Cloud 9 is all neutrals so there is no color overlap

Wish theyd spend more time improving their formulas and rereleasing old favorites and less time releasing "new" palettes of recycled colors we've seen them use dozens of times.
