    How do you have “no experience” but you’re a cs major at a very reputable school? You also had other internships. Very misleading

    Never understood jobs that have entry level positions but it says you have to have experience😂. That would make no sense. The job isn’t entry then.

      That’s an employer’s wish list, just like when they ask us about our desired salary, I aim higher than what I really want, so they pay me what I want 😉

    I saw the title and thought to myself - since when did Internships require experience. The very purpose of an internship is to provide experience to students

    "Go to the Career Fair" yes yes yes. I always tell people to do this when they ask me how to get into FAANG. I literally got my FAANG job through a career fair back in 2014 :)

    This is a great video. Nobody wants to say they’re family or friends are the reason they got a job, but in reality that is the case for MANY people

      This video is not good. He's constantly iscouraging people from applying to big name companies. LOTS of companies have programs that target freshman and sophomores. He's unaware. Also, how come people shouldn't apply for big name companies? No one should tell no to themselves, its the recruiters job.

    I am a senior with minimal experience related to tech besides school courses. I am struggling to find an internship or a co-op and am becoming worried about my situation. Am a little lost right now

      You're not alone. I am on the same page, but I have been self teaching myself to code outside of school. All I really have for myself are personal projects and no internships. I am nearing my final semester and sweating buckets.

      Me too.. I am worried that I have gotten my degree for nothing but personal work. I have 1 more semester until I graduate and I have only been able to get one interview. Someone told me that looking for online work is kind of pointless and that I should be looking for an in person job that's local.

    I got my actually skipped the internship and went straight to entry-level just by sending a simple “cover letter” along with my resume, and I was still in school.

      You’ll want to mainly ask about their journey and background-so if someone mentions they interned at a specific company, ask them about the interview process, how they got the 1st interview, what prior work experience have they done, etc.
      And if they mention anything surprising or counterintuitive, make sure you ask clarifying questions and dive into it.

    I don’t know how it works in other parts of the world but usually companies want interns who are going to stay working for a full-time job later on. Why would they want to train somebody who is going to another company? Big companies can afford it but small ones, I guess can’t

    I don’t understand the measurable aspects of the resume because where are you getting the data from? It sounds like people slap random numbers when I read their resumes

      Google is your best friend - you’ll want to search for roles near you or in adjacent cities, and then go down the list and apply to them
