But what all this worth if you don’t have friends you don’t have fun you don’t try knew things explore, maybe do something that is not healthy but is healthy for your soul. What does it all worth if you get up everyday and your single agenda is to become better than everyone but not a better person?

This is literally to get ahead of 99% I just want a chance in tech, but I think people can pick and choose, I agree on exercise, eating right, showering, reason books and studying well. But games are literally what some people get into the field or it’s a good hobby. Drinking once in a while is fine, just be responsible, with age binge drinking just sucks but drinking an expensive wine is better. This advice is to make work and CS your whole life and it should just be a part of who you are. I will never give up my passion for watching TV, trying new games, hopefully I can get ahead of just the 40% 😂

But how do you classify "ahead". At some points id rather have a 140k job and enjoy my time rather than 160k and not. Be so fr not everyone shares the same values

Aman Manazir - do you feel happy with your life right now? Do you think you're more, less, or just as happy as those who aren't as successful as you in their career?

I wish I found this video earlier, 2 months precisely. I am currently taking a cs course at Berkeley, barely passing because I decided I to smoke weed and drink every weekend.
It’s better just to stay away from this stuff altogether, no matter how disciplined you are.
