what i do is setup 22 workshops with santatron, collect gifts from all 22, set a timer for an hour and repeat and kill scorch after i set timer I at least get around 700 or more per day
Anecdotally- I use the fallout 1st private world “quick reroll” trick and usually farm 1 to 3 high spawn areas. I’ve had TERRIBLE holiday gift drop rate for the last 6 hours. HOWEVER, I found that doing Collision Course had a MUCH HIGHER drop rate for gifts! So now I’m just rerolling the event am covering my Xmas tree with Presents!

Clear scorches / do Collision course Leave world Open a “Custom world” (you must have one precreated) - once it says “building world” you cancel and open another private world. Basically, you can only have one non-public world open at a time, by opening a “custom” it deletes the “private” and you can open a new “private”. Hope that helps!

There's a few that I don't want to deal with the ones with the scorched. I kind of avoid those cuz it can end up being a gaggle. So all in all, I've made a lot of script today and I've learned a million plans which is really good and I'm such a high level so I'm really happy with that. Not looking to trade with anybody. This is kind of like a personal thing so I'm really happy
PSA: Prefabs can be used for blueprints that 100% always work! Now, it's not going to let you go past normal build limits like dropping two Santatrons or anything but you'll never get the floating items error. I've been making blueprints for workshops using prefabs and it's so much easier to place them than any blueprint containing foundations.
Am I the only one who has a bug since todays update where everytime I bring up my map, its ALWAYS zoomed in to the upper left corner of the map near Vault 51?
Scorched Horde events are the best to farm the Holiday Scorched if you don’t want to hunt them down just have to keep the Leader alive and more 4 scorched spawn per min and any of those can be Holiday Scorched… Only issue is other players don’t know what you are doing and kill the leader while you are farming
This update just added bugs for me to the point where it is unplayable. With no quest markers and a horrible pip-boy lag it is literally broken. Hope it gets fixed ASAP.
@@Owtch Something that was able to be done in Fallout 4. You'd be able to put a Fast Travel mat anywhere so that that spot can be the spot you spawn when fast traveling
I love what they are trying to do with the game, but after the update yesterday I wasn't getting any daily quest markers or other players on the map so hopefully they will fix that super quick
Just been doing the loop... Is anyone finding less three stars than usual, and the loop is essentially garbage? Even when I was killing three stars, I was getting small xmas presents. I'm already done with this nonsense. The season was bad enough, the map update breaking was something else, but this is just tiresome.
It's annoying having to wait to fast travel from workshop to workshop because there are enemies there preventing immediate fast travel. Would it help to build the santatron at a great height? Does height count toward proximity to enemies, in the sense it would allow instant fast travel?
I've been doing the blueprint thing for ages, but I didn't think about making a blueprint of the resource things to go on it. You can blueprint a floor with stuff on it, but it never works when you use it.
FYI I’ve been able to just place a collectron and travel mat inside a building and successfully create blueprints with it. As soon as I place a stash box or anything else it gives the floating error
I've found that any blueprint with foundations in them will give floating errors for all kinds of other stuff being included. However, if you make a blueprint using a prefab, it works 100% of the time, so long as the prefab itself can be placed and you haven't reached a build limit.

I swear... some things seem to happen on purpose. I kept fast-traveling from place to place populated with groups of scorched but i didnt find a SINGLE festive one during my last fifteen minutes of the score boost... now I'm forced to use another one because this challenge is a gold star and i need one more gold star for my weekly 😑😤
This event is really confusing to someone like me who has only done events like fasnacht and mutated where we know when the events start. But the this holiday scorched event thing doesnt have a certain time to pop up its just totally random in a different named event...

Not the fast travel screen. You know how sometimes you come to a door, open it and walk right in and other times you click "open" and it does a loading screen.
I’m new to the game, and as much as I love camp building and would like the new plans, it seems a little unfair that newer peeps have to hunt down scorched all day while the vets get to kick back with their santatron armies hard at work 😅
Good video as usual. Side note. If you ever wanted to diversify your channel I always felt you’d be a good RUclipsr for the game ‘7 Days to Die’. You seem to really like min maxing and exploiting game mechanics to their fullest. With 7 Days to Die going gold on PC and re releasing on the console July 25th I feel it’s lacking in RUclipsrs that treat it like you do Fallout 76. Just something to consider.
I have been struggling since this started. When I pick up or craft a gift, it does not appear in my MISC inventory. I also can't see my keys and other items. And when I've opened gifts, it doesn't show me what I got in the yellow text on screen. Anyone know how to fix that?

I did five and I kept running back and forth I got tired so I didn't claim any more workshops
They also fixed the nodding donkey today! You can place nodding donkey and firewood pile down together now.

The fact that a fast travel mat CANNOT be placed in a camp is dumb... But it prevents trolls from killing everyone out right I guess _🤷♂️_

You 100% do not want fast travel mats placeable at camps. It was abused constantly for player killing
You can still amend the spawn location at your camp by moving the c.a.m.p. module iirc, at least you used to be able to, I haven't done it in a yr+.
There is a fast travel mat in the build menu in workshops but not camps (well last time I looked which was a while ago!)
Anyone else think it's just lazy of Bethesda adding a Christmas event in the summer rather than creating something different

Best thing to do with the Map bug is zoom out all the way via holding zoom out and open and close the map a few times

Quick PSA: if you put your survival tent down you need to hop servers to be able to see the icon and fast travel to it

defending is optional they are yours unless other player contest them

I commend Bethesda for the drop rate of the new plans. First day, 6+ of each new plan and I am done.

He means that there won’t be holiday scorched in interior cells that you would have to load into.
