15:38 if you do the solo battle stuff right when you reach level 3 instead of waiting until after you open the first 15 packs, you get enough hour glasses from the missions to do a 10 pack opening. You end up getting 4 more packs (19) from everything and in total it only takes 3-4 more minutes since you save time from doing the 10 pack. And if youre feeling really cheeky or if you already plan on choosing the Pikachu Pack that comes with the Rapidash deck, you can get a 5th extra pack using shop tickets to get 4 more hourglasses which is just enough to get you another pack after claiming the daily mission reward as well. It just requires that you knock out a pokemon with your fire pokemon in the solo battle and put 4 basic pokemon into play.
Charizard packs are really good for beginners because of Blaine deck, Starmie deck and Exxegutor ex. All of them are easy to build and pretty competitive. Char+Moltres deck is difficult but not really necessary or urgent to get.
I definitely agree with that. Mewtwo and Zard are on par when it comes to decks one can build with it. Especially Blaine is a safe pick for f2p, as it is really fun and great for the solo missions that ask you to build a deck with low rarity costs. Pika is really far behind, because realistically the only viable deck in it is pika ex.
I agree that starting with mewtwo is first is probably the best. Some could agrie charizard. What i don't agree with is pika being 2nd priority afterwards. Charizard has so many good trainer cards needed and has plenty of deck diversity in it which help for solo missions a bit and gets you excited when you get another card you need for the decks you're building. Yes you want a main deck but gotta start working on others too
Even without Articuno EX Starmie EX is great on a Greninja deck (both are in Zard packs). Pika packs only offer a Lightning deck, in terms of good decks. I would rather go with Zard packs over Pika ones unless u want to only play Pika EX decks (it is arguably strongest deck though).
Important question please answer. If i already binded my premium pass (promotional free 2wks atm) if i RESET my account do i lose the free 2wks or $10 from premium pass? It said free 2wks can only be done on 1st premium purchase.
you don't! I'm resetting and resetting atm and when i create a new account the 2 weeks trial free is already there and you have 2 packs of those charged. so pretty cool, I don't know why this question isn't answered anywhere, i just took the risk and luckily nothing happened
22:56 Didn't they say that hourglass is locked to specific card set? In this case, the hourglasses that you saved can only be used to open Genetic Apex, not the 2nd set in the future. There is no point in saving up hourglass. Am I missing something?
@@daami537 Maybe I am confusing it with 'pack points'. New set will require separate pack points. Hopefully hourglass is universal currency for any pack in the future.
Don't link your accounts in the beginning like he says in the video. Things have changed and will make it so that you can't reroll without having to completely uninstall.
One question I have with account resetting: can you still use the same name you did before resetting, or do you need to use names you dont care for and change them to something you like later?
*I think I will aim for Starmie EX and Kabutops or Sandslash with Arbok on the side. I will start ready for Charizard and Pikachu. After Dual Greninja I will probably go Pikachu for Seadra Misty +(KabuSlash). Don't get me wrong I love Articuno, Dragonite, Pidgeot Vaporeon, but art wise Mewtwo just seems like the least atractive of the three packs. I hope I can catch at least Articuno from wonder pick.*
I’m curious about this too. And also, what’s actually considered as “preregistration”? Like it’s just presave the app from your store? Or is it only for those New Zeland accounts?
It makes no sense to hoard hourglasses for the next set. You could make the exact same argument for set 2, don't use any hourglasses because you will eventually pick up all of set 2 from opening 2 packs daily. What makes set 2 more important to collect quickly compared to the base set? If anything, it's more important to complete the base set faster because expansion sets tend to build on existing decks so you need fewer of the cards.
At some point depending if your spending or not you will hit a point where you should stop using your hourglassses and save them for the next set, or save them to do a 10 pull if you like 10 pulls. This is particuarly relavent due to getting 2 free/forced pulls a day. Obviously this will be dependent on how trading is structured as you could feasible just pull set 1 if trading in not to taxed and just get the cards you want from the new set by trading copies of older cards.
The idea is start hoarding once you have a competitive deck you're happy with. If Set 2 comes out and power creeps whatever decks you have, you'll want to be able to open those new packs quickly in order to stay competitive. Set 2 may not be a huge power creep over Set 1 but it doesn't hurt to be prepared just in case.
based on the graphic, the pikachu pack seems easier since you wont need to also hunt multi stage pokemon. but since we're rerolling does that become a mute point? Also concerning the very first pack you pick how would you say the starter decks you get compare (ie rapidash, etc)
All decks need some of the 2 diamond trainers, but those can be kind of targeted with wonder picks. Ive opened dozens of charizard packs and have yet to pull a sabrina but got 2 copies from wonder pick. Pikachu is definitely the simplest but it still wants 2 ex's.
@@blackbelt171 is that simplicity a good thing or a bad thing tho? everyone seems to saw open mewtwo but trying for metwo and a full gardevoir line or just a full venusaur line seems way less likely that pulling zapdos or pikachu. TLDR: is having more to chase better or worse?
@@iRule37 it depends if you actually want to play the pikachu deck. My soft launch account i have most of the articuno/starmie deck built f2p(missing 1 misty). You can easily hit 2 ex's spam rerolling so it really doesnt matter which deck you want as long as youre willing to spend the time. A lot of people are probably just playing this game to collect as well so they wont even care that much about what deck they can build. I would say the gardevoir line would be way harder since you need 6 cards and hitting rares is about as hard as hitting an EX.
Pikachu packs also require a lot of lightning Pokémon and it won’t be clear what is “best” to run in those slots as a new player. Additionally, without Zapdos EX I think Pikachu EX does feel much worse. So I devalue it a little, but yes I think Pikachu is a good pack to focus on if you don’t want to focus on mewtwo for some reason.
I just feel like everyone is pulling mewtwo. I’m hoping I can get good cards from mewtwo through wonderpick and then swap early after pulling some good stuff from pikachu. Also mewtwo has my least favorite art from the three packs (loving charizard’s machamp and alakazam)
Day 1's gonna suck with everyone playing the same Mewtwo deck. Im personally going to go Zard pack to have more beginner friendly decks like Starmie, Champ, etc Is it the best? No. But I really just dont want to play M2 forever.

I think the argument is that the pika ex deck onle really needs pika ex to work, as the rest of the deck is low rarity electirc stuff.
@@XenithShadowi guess but still need trainer cards for it or any deck for that matter. Sabrina and gio universally good.

Has the game updated? When i reset i cant open 10 packs i run out between 26 to 36 cards whats up with that?
Does anybody know if we will get the preregistration bonus on every reset? If yes, s it linked to your device or how does it work?

Ended up pulling a couple Marowaks in my first pack and had so much fun playing people online that I forgot to spend the rest of my hourglasses 😅
What program you using to play this on pc?
My game instantly crashes whenever I try to open it. I haven’t even set up anything yet is the Gamefully out on iPhone yet?
