The garlic bread sandwich with a chicken, spaghetti, and mozzarella looks like a creation someone made when stoned.
I get what you mean, but then again, I happen to enjoy the odd edible and when I do partake, you can be sure that I will be cooking something sophisticated and marvellous. My standards don't decrease - if anything, it's the opposite. I would not take kindly to someone offering me one of those, no matter how badly I had the munchies.

I had my lesson with frozen pasta. Doesnt work, turns into mush upon thawing. Freeze the sauce and always prepare fresh pasta. Do something else with the leftover pasta the next day.
Any recommendations for what you can do to the leftover pasta? My friend suggested mincing it and then making balls and frying them, you know, like porcini? I didn't fancy it because I don't like the texture of reheated pasta and figured it probably wouldn't improve in minced form and that the inside of the balls would still be gummy-like. So yeah, any ideas?
@@craigr4763 You can make a frittata... A pasta salad... Or put them in the oven with a seasoning of your choice and bake it crispy to eat as a snack. And then there is the classic casserole. These are my ideas.
@@craigr4763fried pasta is nice the next day...a touch of oil in a medium hot fry pan..put the pasta in...gently toss and add a little water if needed...you will know when to take it off the heat. The texture and sauce changes...but I like it...add cheese on serving.
The Parmesan in a can is not even real cheese it is actually made from wood.

Honestly, as somebody who is lactose intolerant, there is no option for ricotta. I have to strain cottage cheese.

Canned san Marzano tomatoes are nearly identical in price to jarred pasta sauce. A blender and a few spices (plant some basil too!) will make it taste 10x better with little effort
