I bought your book and have been watching your videos. Can't say how thankful I am to have found you! I am just a beginner but your tutorials have already helped me produce pieces I can actually show people! Thanks for being such a great resource.
I am going to incorporate your teachings into my homeschool... you lay it out so that they well be able to completely understand. Thank you for your videos!
I just discovered your channel and I am so glad I did. I love your work too, you are very inspirational! Really enjoyed spending my evening with your videos :D
I was delighted to find a video by you as I was going through looking for a video on drawing shells. You have a great way of simplifying things down so I can really understand what to do. I'm not entirely sure I understand what you mean by line of balance. I think that is self-explanatory, but I'm not sure. I'm rather new to your videos. I have your book and like it very much what I've read so far.
I've come back to this video some years later as I remembered the line of balance(and as a diver I love shells), I've switched back towards airbrushing lately but this is a great tutorial.
Thanks a lot man! I've been looking for shell, and flower, drawing tutorials that are understandable due to our homework. Once again, thanks and a great video! You're easier to understand than my art teacher, who doesn't go into depth at all -_-
I wish I was magically good at art but unless dragons are involved, then nah...once I've got my shells drawn, I'll be sure to check out your flower video. At how quick it is to draw these, I won't be spending so much time on art as I usually do ^_^
j'aime beaucoup vos travaux monsieur. Mais le problème c'est que je ne parle pas anglais donc s'il vous plait veuillez faire une vidéo de la mise des valeurs sur le corps humain et animal en temps réel. merci d'avance!!!!!!!!
honestly...your work is amazing!! All videos I've watched made me speechless. I've just started getting some knowledge of drawing and stuff to prove my skills and that I found your channel was the best that happened to me. But to be honest... I'm flashed but also feeling like I draw like a baby because you can do so damn good :O But what I ask myself... maybe you can answer it... where are you getting your inspiration from? Even if I want do draw something I never know what I should draw.. maybe you have some tips? :)
+Annika Li Thanks so much. I think you should consider browsing images and find subjects that you like that way. Find things that interest you and research ways that artists have depicted them. Then just start copying them. And I mean copy everything. You'll find the more your library of images keep building the more resources you'll have at your leisure to work from. Then you can start experimenting and taking things in new directions
I had to watch this with captions and no sounds because the pencil on paper sound was really irritating (a bit between that tickle in your ear and nails on a chalk board). Though, it’s likely due to my not controlling the pencil.
Still going over these videos, forever a fan. Thanks for all the inspiration alphonso!
haha, me too 😅 9 years old and still the best 😎
