In an exclusive interview with the South China Morning Post, Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad talks extensively about his stance when it comes to China. He had previously criticised former prime minister Najib Razak for "selling off" Malaysia to Beijing.
Mahathir also talks about Malaysian politics, and the suggestion that his Pakatan Harapan coalition could be vulnerable when it comes to the Malay vote.
Well it took 3 interviewer, to interview our national treasure,
Which happen to be 92 years old.
But he spoke like a 29 yr, but with the wisdom of a 92,
Bla, he's still the same Mahathir. 22 years no change
TF are you talking about? George who? George Bush?
you means he national treasure? LOL you people so idiots
@@musnahkantahilembu8342 at least more clever than you. If you don't like him don't watch this video
Wisdom my foot. He was given a second chance to make it right and yet he went back to his old habit. He deserved his predicament.
Woah. This is a very good interview from PM Mahathir. Greetings from Philipines✌

Hi. President Duterter also very good and bold in an interview. Like his character. Greeting from Penang Malaysia
Engku Khairie duterre talk no censor bah....😂😂😂
93 years old & his mind still amaze me. Hope he have enough strength to fix the greatest issues in this countries & retired knowing that he have done enough.
Yeah dude, even me I couldn't talk as clear and mature as he did. He's an inspiration to us all
Very sharp intellectually indeed.
you amaze by he mitos story only. he cant do auta without good story LOL
Musnahkan Tahi Lembu Amen!!! I'm not talking about myth here. He is 93Years Old & still speak/think better than most malaysian. No script, simple and logic explaination. Definitely better than all others at his age.
Do i like him...No... I just hate Najib, Rosmah & Dumno more.
What i respect is that he go out to go against Najib, Admit his past mistake & try to fix what is wrong in Malaysia. He is 93 Years Old & already half a step to the grave but for Malaysia he take on the post once again.
He is not the one we want but the one we need. All i hope is that he bring back the confidence that i have in malaysia 20 decade ago.
@@musnahkantahilembu8342 can you do better job than him?
Tun seems to be more rested and his speech is so clear and precise. Compared to the 1st three weeks after the election result, he is back to pre election composure.
CK agree, he is much composed and calm today

Even some bn minister who graduate from Oxford canmot give well explanation like tun m

They have become the Brits themself which we gain independance from back in the days

Oxford can only give u so much. it depends on the individual to progress further. Tainted afterwards oxford graduates can end up becoming useless piece of garbage.. no offence..
good one samsuri

"Well, I can't always be popular. One day, I will become unpopular because when you are in the government, you have to do unpopular things."
Dr M is literally the living embodiment of being ahead of its time.
Was just about to quote this. Very true.
Tun is a man of great vision , wisdom and achievements respected by the world.
China should therefore , seriously look into the matters brought up by Tun.
Syabas Tun.

Hahaha great leaders 👏
can't wait to him to ⚰️🪦⚱️
When he visited Perodua while they were completing their very first Kancils, he asked "can this car bring four adults to Genting Highlands?"
When reporters asked him, upon completion of the Petronas twin towers, "what about (another soon-to-be-completed taller building)? Will it not be taller than the twin towers?" He answered "they have one, we have two"
And here he shows yet again how well he can break down complicated issues into simple, bite-sized info!

Placing Malaysia n Malaysian workers interests first instead of a regional power is not anti china, but is a trait of a good leader. On the other hand, if Malaysian company only want to hire Malaysian workers and Malaysian management while operating in China, it will meet with loud protest from the regime and facing many legal issues too. It is just plain silly to say he is anti China just because he disagree with those unfair practices and discriminatory policy toward hiring of local workers n want procurement of materials from China only while undertake government Mega Billion construction projects as Anti.....; it is also quite silly for the media to classify those huge amount of loans borrowed from China to undertake dozen of contruction projects as 'chinese investment' instead of 'national debts'.

It's China what do you expect? They only see Malaysia as their sacrificial pawn to gain control of world economy...if one day they went to war against USA they might use Malaysia land as battlefield.

I used to dislike Mahathir last time he was the PM. But now I changed my mind. Love from Singapore!
To correct you Mahathir was never a president. He was a prime minister before and he is our present prime minister.
i thought singapore was an enemy of malaysia but however the girls at Singapore are so beautiful 😎
@@valetyl5673 Singapore and Malaysia have a long history of love-hate relationship, just like all neighbors do...
Moving forward, I hope all SEAN countries can stand together as one. We, a region of over 400 millions, will be ONE of the most dynamic, most powerful economic and political block (if not the most power) in the world!
As long as we don't mess up this historic opportunity, we have a chance to develop and to prosper together!
@@valetyl5673 Within ASEAN, it is impossible for one country to prosper without other countries also prospering. Simply impossible! ASEAN countries need to form a single, unified, market in order to compete with other stronger economies.
Malaysia, by itself, will not stand a chance. So is any other single ASEAN country.

Im so proud to see we had intelligent PM like Tun Mahathir. He spoke like real economist and had huge knowledge about foreign nations.
Yess keluarkan bangla tukarkan kepada orang malaysia. Tambahkan lagi tenaga pekerja dari orang malaysia.
Suhaimi 7750 lebih lagi indon
Bohong kalau kata x perlukan pekerja asing. X banyak sikit pun dah memadai sebab tenaga kerja dalam negara tidak mencukupi dengan permintaan industri. Nak ambil mana lagi tenaga pekerja kalau bkn dari luar. Itupun dah cover banyak dgn teknologi canggih. Tapi apa yg tun cakap mmg betul, kalau x kawal masalah malaysia nnti.
Bukan taknak keluarkan , sbb ramai yg taknak bekerja buruh , ni masalahnya kebanjiran org asing , tenaga kerja malaysia juga tidak byk spt negara Jepun Dan china yg populasinya besar
Thank you very much TUN. God Bless you

The last statement where he said that one day he will become unpopular because when you are in the government, you have to do unpopular things. How prophetic...
93 years old man speak more clearly and louder than interviewers.
The old leader who had brought the development and prosperity to Malaysia' people...!!!!!
What an amazing man. I was 16 when he became PM and now he’s PM again and better than ever. I applaud you, Dr Mahatir. Though I was a non-bumiputra 3 gen Malaysian. What would Malaysia have been without you?
I like the last statement by tun.....very true😊👍

Really honest answer. Great old Man 👍
Brilliant
I agree, Tun. As a Singaporean, i dont like immigrant to come here. Singapore government jobs are all taken over by immigrants. Singapore government like that BS and leaving many Singaporeans finding hard to look for a job. My work is always contract and will have to keep looking for one perm is not easy. My director from my department is a Chinese, Singaporean PR. So unfair. Singapore is a majority Chinese nation so it's normal that the minorities like me got looked low by the majority. Now, i question my status as a local here.
This is his special year, WAWASAN 2020.
