I just subscribed to your channel. Thank you for this journey to the springs. There’s nothing more beautiful than a desert spring. All the intricacy of the Flora and fauna are indescribable. So beautiful. I think you did a very good job at pointing out all the details and I enjoyed coming along with you in this video. Great job❤

This place is beautiful and never new about it. I have driven Hwy 95 quite a few times and it doesn’t look to far from there. Will have to remember and come visit sometime. Thanks for sharing 🙂

Very interesting. Having lived in the Sonoran Desert all my life I understand about the unique beauty of the desert. When my grandparents moved here in the 1920s I’ve been told my grandmother hated it. But over time she learned to love it. Once we had a lady visit us from Japan. We took her on a day trip into the desert and she was so taken by it. She loved the ruggedness of the mountains. Her comparison said it all. “Our mountains in Japan are soft and feminine. Your mountains are so strong and masculine!”

Way to rep Hamilton 😉. Been to desert a couple different times. Really was not a fan. I just don’t like all the dust. That being said, we really want to go back to Nevada because we really haven’t explored it much. Soooo guess I’ll have to suck it up and go. And when I say suck it up, I mean literally. The dust goes right up my nose and wreaks havoc on my sinuses 😔. That spring is very pretty. Love how clear it is. I agree the landscape is interesting. It has its own beauty. But I will forever be a sandy beach or snow capped, with lots of greenery, mountains girl 🤷🏻‍♀️. Ah glad you answered why the fish were such a big deal. Yeah that’s a lot of work to make flour. Thank goodness I can buy it from a store. Pretty sure I would have starved if I had lived then. I swear Shalane was saying that get down to the grassroots line extra fast lol. Hope you guys are having a good time out there.

The desert has it's own beauty, as does the beach or snow capped mountains. When people ask me where I like to be, my first thought is the location that I am at at the time. It is the only place that I can full enjoy at that moment. :) Agreed, I am glad that I can buy food at a store, but glad there are other options if I can't. ;) If you can visit NV before June, we would love to show you some of the cool things we know about. We will be back in MO in June. :)
