    Good I found your channel, my a45 is a 2016 model and the mileage is getting up the 70k mark so, its nice to know and be prepared for these issues. Need to make sure I have some money on the side as well haha going to cost a kidney

    Great job. Definitely not amateur!! You are too humble. Just a question. I saw the horrendous amount of oil flooding into intercooler. Would it possible to go all the way back to hydrolock engine and break it? Do you need to do compression test on engine?

      Thanks buddy, it is possible to hydrolock yes I removed as much flooding as I could by removing all the spark plugs and turning over the engine oil shot out everywhere 😂 I kept doing this until it was oil free👍

    I've the 2020 CLA 35 amg, will my engine have the same turbo issues? If so, I want to use that warranty before mercedes charges me a arm and leg 😂

      Hi honestly I’m not sure on your car, wouldn’t of thought so as mine is an older version it wasn’t fitted with a factory bov they rectified this with the later models, reducing wear on the turbo

  • @kay7213

    To remove the turbo, do you need to go underneath the car or not mate?

      Honestly I’m not going to be going to 500bhp as it’s my daily so I’ve never looked in it, better of talking to MSL performance good luck with the build🚀

    As a 2017 GLA45 owner...should i expect the same kind of issue ?

    • @ryanhennessey1009
      @ryanhennessey1009  3 года назад

      There the same engine so yes, I wouldn’t worry about that it depends on how the turbo has been looked after, warmed up/ cooled down.
      I brought the car second hand & the previous owner maybe didn’t treat it well🤷🏻‍♂️
