Stage 2 downpipe, intake, BOV, full exhaust, custom tune 45 AMG here. AMS makes an intake vent that removes the restrictive pillar. You can buy it as a standalone or with their intake. I have a 5 inch intake myself with the stock vent but I do plan on getting the one with the pills removed. I don’t think it makes a huge difference but you never know

after i have installed the cts 5 inch intake i can feel there was a power increase i think it probably because the stock intake has some restrictions

You removed the cover and placed in the blanket only right ? Or you cover the blanket over the steel cover ?

Mine Misfires when I go full throttle. I’ve change the plug coils, checked fuel pump and injector and it still misfires.
