I just found these as I am attempting a similar project and know basically nothing about rc boats ( rc in general). I have built 2 of the dumas Chris Crafts and one is rc with the dumas equipment. I remember seeing the Deep Vee line of boats back in the day and was disappointed to find out they are no longer made. I know I could buy a rtr boat but I think a big part of the process is building the boat too. That said it is difficult to get all the info needed regarding, esc, battery, motor, receiver, drive and steering components, etc. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos as they a a huge source of info.
Omg I love your youtube vids.
Thank you.

Cooling plate?
crispyspa I have 2 different sizes of them from Offshore electric . To put on the esc or batteries.
@@pitbikecookracing3324 would I need to peel the heat shrink off the swordfish to put on the cooling plate?
crispyspa I don’t think you do . I would temp gun test . Both ways.
