  • How to get started with integrating QuickChart.io into your AppSheet app. In this video I'll show you how you can start adding high quality data visualizations direction within your AppSheet app, by starting with a line graph. This will demonstrate how you can take the data from your app and populate that dynamically into a chart.
    General Step Overview
    1) Create your data sets
    2) Extract out the data points
    3) Extract out the labels
    4) Extract out any additional variables you may need
    5) Grab chart code from QuickChart.io
    6) Adapt code with Concatenate(), integrating your data

      First of 4! Next I've got Quick`n`Easy charts (Sparklines, progress bars, radial gauges, QR codes)
      - FYI: this, and the rest of the video in the series, all come from the live streams from the end of last year - if you wanted to skip ahead in the series. (^_^)

    Hi, great class. As always.
    Do you know any other websites I can get more SVGs to use in Appsheet? I wanted a text with colored background to use a status.

    Hi matt,
    Do you know any method to get slice for each year . I am asking this because usually when days goes on we should manually create slice and virtual columns for respective years. Please find some technique for interactive charts. For example there are 2020, 21 , 23 is there . While we click 2020 , we should get 2020's monthly sales (Jan to Dec) . When Feb is clicked... It should display daily sales of 2020's FEB.

    This is awesome 🙌 out of curiosity, what happened to the chrome extension AppSheet toolbox? It's not working anymore.

      Yup same, on some of my old app it works. Hope it gets resolved.

      This is actually something that happens off and on, at no fault to the Qrew team; AppSheet pushes releases daily, so imagine the "update nightmare" that could cause.
      - EVERY... day. You've got to ensure that nothing broke.
      That's a tall order for something that's free, no? Thankfully it seems like it's back up and running now... mostly.

    hello, thanks for the video; Do you know if there is a way to include quickchart graphs in the reports generated by bots?

    • @MultitechVisions
      @MultitechVisions  Год назад +1

      Indeed! As long as you're using a template to generate your report, you should be able to include the column like any normal image.
      - You might encounter issues with the URL showing; if so, just reach out to AppSheet so they know they need to fix things again. (This sort of thing breaks all the time, they just need to be told it's broken and they'll get it back to the image.)

    sir, how to export to a .doc file, so it's like a mail merge system but the output is .doc not .pdf
    the problem is when I tried to pdf, the format was messed up
    thanks sir

    • @MultitechVisions
      @MultitechVisions  Год назад

      Unfortunately that's not a supported output type. If you work carefully and diligently, you can get the PDF to look how you want - it just takes some time.
      - Alternatively you might try an HTML template instead?
