Wow! As each Presenter shared information, I actually began to clearly understand what they were sharing, and how I will possibly use this information in the future. Thank you for Details, Depth, and Clarity!
Great video! Noob here. Working on AppSheet for a small company. Traditionally, I would have an Employee ID and a Customer ID included as fields for Employees and Customers data sets. From this video, am I correct to say such ID fields are no longer necessary? Duplicate data records will some how be figured out by AppSheet? About to flip the switch (lol), so I'm hoping you're still listening. Thanks either way. SW
Amazing. I just want to suggest if you could make a video of creating an app for education purposes. Like quiz maker by importing excel file. Hopefully you can give it a try. I really want to know.
It's a cool concept with a lower barrier than developing a traditional CRUD app. However, at pricing of $5-$10/user/month for the non-negotiated plans, it seems like a very niche platform that'll be used by smaller companies without developers on the payroll. It'll be interesting to see what kind of public apps come out on the $50/month plan.
I have installed App Sheets on my google sheets and am getting this error. I'm using mac but i'm using google sheets so i dont know if that matters.. This is happening since yesterday. Something went wrong. AppSheet is not loading at the moment. Try again later.
In 29:36 how does he know that the project managers' names that he got by using Query function correspond to the projects that are already listed in the first column? 29.09 he says the order is the right order, but what exactly enforces this to be the case?
Great video with typically developer explained on something that always in order. So please don't interrupt or system will hang or error 😁 #justkidding
Nice Video.. thank you. One point I would make - at 37.20 when the Tasks table is used AppSheet defines the "Task" as the primary key. I think the primary key should be a combo of Task + Project; otherwise you could not add a task called "Finish Report" as there is already a task with that name assigned to an existing project. But I learned a lot from the video..
Or better yet, create a unique ID column. I don't know what Smartsheet would do in your scenario if there were two finish report tasks under one project.
You can absolutely use it for inventory quantities, however there's not a native way to process payments in AppSheet at this time. Does that answer your question?
Charles saw an opportunity to get some screen time and didn't hold back. Poor guy is probably stuck behind a screen and unable to be public with his voice.
Great video! I love Charles' enthusiasm when showing how to clean out the sheet. 😀
What a great video!!! Never seen some explaining the potential of sheets until I saw this video. More videos about google sheets, please!

I like the concept therefore I love to learn this new tech.

Great vid! Can you use AppSheet for users (customers) to login and order items and sync that to a google sheet or is another way around it?

You talked so brief. You only told clean and nomalize data, but not appsheet really. I think we expect step by step and how to create an UX.
🙂
