Synopsis : Chaeryeong was found dead in her house. The police suspect her high school friends as the suspects. The detective in charge finds out that her killing is related to another case that occurred 15 years ago and starts tracking down her friends’ motive to kill Chaeryeong. The wound of the four ladies that isn’t cured after 15 years starts to turn into hatred and blames each other. Who is the killer and why? Prepare to find out the real killer and the killer’s motive!

Hujung² ending pun diorg langsung tak penah rasa bersalah.... Kalo ikutkan story nie, diorg nie sebenarnya hasad dengki kat Chaeryeong sebab Chaeryeong ada segala²nya.... Sedangkan diorg cuma middle class jea.... Itulah dari kawan jadi lawan, musuh dlm selimut.... Better jauhkanlah diri drpd manusia toxic....
chaeryong revenge is actually brilliant and the most effective. Guilt, doubting each other between husband and wife and friends for all their life lead to the worst suffer. However, these all wouldn't happen if only they can forgive, ask for forgiveness and believe others' forgiveness for them. Chaeryong already able to forgive but all her friends' reactions make her change her mind lead to the revenge plot.
I have a good cry for this drama. I think i'll binge-watching drama special after this :)

This is so sad yet so true. We might doesn't have the same situation as theirs but the emotions are real. Believe it or not, we have that kind of insecurity and doubts that we let them grow in ourselves to the extend that we refuse to see other's good intentions. Man, this is really one nice thought out drama. Good job for the staffs and actors behind it.

A well executed drama that illustrated the impact on four close friends after a terrible incident. However, instead of making things right, it was the actions of friends that wrote the ending of the story. I think mostly everyone can sympathize and understand Chaeryeong in this situation. After all these years, mothing has changed. Now, instead of hiding behind their parents, they hide behind their insecurities, and paranoia, while shifting blame on Chaeryeong for the mishaps in their lives. Little did they know... I LOVE special dramas! :)

@@raissalianna889 No, they didn't really have guilt. They were being selfish and were paranoid/anxious because they're scared they'll get caught for their crimes.
Yes, they did but were too frightened to go against school authorities, the boys powerful parents and their own parents. The repercussion of coming forward would destroy their lives as well. Later in years, no one knew where she was or even if she was alive, as she was living abroad.
OMGGGGGG....WOW !!! Very sad but very true, this is the reality for you. Everyone is only thinking about themselves, the selfish world everyone lives in today. Really well executed by all the actors :D
they're really bad friend tbh. never once did they trust her words, even a little bit. instead of appologizing and trying to make up for their mistakes, they just decided not to be close to her in fear of revenge ?!!?!
it just shows how evil we are. we're quick to doubt, we find it easier to think badly about one rather than the opposite. this is really sad....

It’s not really the school image. The boys were connected. In Korea back then your employer looked at your family and not just you with hiring and firing. The boys families solved it with money. Not unlike Michael Jackson, the Boy Scouts, etc... not unique to Korea. Sounds like one of the boys was killed. Sounds like that family suffered not letting it go through the law properly.
I watched it September 28, 2019. One of the most beautiful story, EVER. Great job for the actors especially actresses.

2019. This is brilliant. She was able to forgive at first but their reaction is changing her mind. She knew she is dying soon. So she killed herself, so that they won't be able to forget her and doubting each other. All these years, she still carrying their photos together. They don't even want to find her. So that's a good revenge.

This drama vividly shows the ugly side of human nature. Selfishness. These special dramas are so much more interesting than the long boring family dramas with their contrived plots and terrible direction and acting. If you have watched one series you have watched others also because the plots are basically the same.

I figured it out earlier how charyeong died, when all three friends and the husband started to suspect each other. and my guess was right...
me too..i figured it out even earlier..maybe in the middle of the story or even earlier when they meet at the restaurant..
The concept is kinda like a japanese drama which is somewhat scary with lots of twist and plot.

For people who didn't understand, she didn't kill herself, i think she has a disease and the treatment didn't cure her, she knew that she'll die that day so she called them to go to her house so that she doesn't dievalone, and she didn't even think about taking revenge, they were thinking of her that way cuz they were feeling guilty about what happened in the past and kept blaming her for everything happening to them, she didn't have a grudge on them because of what happened to her, but still, they betrayed her and cut her off, she already forgave them but she really wanted them to apologize
Then on the day she died, it seems that she thought that they weren't going to her cuz theyvwere late, so she burned the death note thinking that it would be useless

Brilliant story + many timelines.
It's kind of sad. Knowing that she's going to die soon, all she ever wanted was to cherished the old good times she had when they were friends. But the guilt, suspicion and hatred clearly shown on her friends faces destroyed her heart and her hope to rekindle the lost friendship.
They can't accept her because of their guilt. They can't accept her because they kept comparing them selves to her. Since they betrayed and turned against her once, they thought she will avenge and hate them if they were in her shoes.
It shows a true character of person comes from inside...
this drama was well made. suspense through the beginning till the end. must watch.

How long do you think they'll remember you for, you took your life for revenge that is the best gift you can give to them. After a rough investigation and they're found innocent your death is in vain😡 they'll be relieved from the past and forget you entirely and you miss accomplished nothing
Everyone was right in their places but when the victim again showed up by forgiving them already in order to share some good and happy moments so that she could not feel herself lonely, the 3 thought she was there to take revenge instead of being thankful that she had forgave what happened in the past and don't believe her. They even doubted her even when she was innocent. After she shown up they all thought that whatever wrong is going in their lives is bcoz of her which is not good. Although they all were unable to do anything when they were young but now they were adults they should understand her and comfort her instead of showing such awkward and wired looks. I think what the victim did in the last was just bcoz they all can fell guilt about what they did and making them remember about her. Although they all were too sad about her and struggling in their lives but in order to make them realise that they should remember her as a friend she did all this.
The last part where she was telling about all the incidence really made me cry and feel sad that there are still many people who are suffering the same as she did.

in the first place when it went really wrong; was for me the decision by the adults&teachers??? to ignore this victim girl and have her abandoned from her closest friends it is such an unbelievable weird & unrealistic choice..this would in my culture be unthinkable and punished by law..those teachers definitely loose their jobs

I don't understand how taking one's own life in order to seek revenge and " brilliant" are even in the same sentence. It may be brilliant writing but in reality this would be an idiotic thing to do. If she did a little investigating, 2 of the 3 women were already either stressed out or miserable. I guess she didn't have time to sit back and allow karma to do its thing. This was sad all around.
She was anyway going to die. She didn't have much time left in her hands and that's why she came back so she doesn't die alone.
So, she just framed her death in a way to take her revenge. :)
