    If Betty is about 23 yo, even though it's very sad, if it turns out that she doesn't have long left, at least she's had some great years at OFR. It must feel like heaven to be able to swim easily whichever direction she feels like in her tank, after having had to become an acrobat every single time she wanted to turn around in her old aquarium.

    I took to Betty immediately when you got her and she is still my favorite. I've had a number of fish pass from old age sicknesses. It's difficult to see your pet decline. I know all of you there are giving the best care possible to all your fish.

    Put the red tailed sharks in one (or both) of the Bellagio tanks, they clean algae and are not really aggressive, except to their own species (sometimes).

      @@joshpriceofrand that's why I made that comment: 😢if you go and look: could Betty be going through fish menopause? I've had fish live that grew up together(even to be growing out past their usual ages) 😔 it's not really documented ..I dont see 👀 many fish keepers addressing anything close to it

  • @jebVlogs556
    @jebVlogs556 17 дней назад +4

    umm 🤔 i know you, you know fish better than anyone and being with her your oldest Paco at the age of 23 : you think maybe it be menopause or do you think 💬🤔 its dropsy or organ failure? If her appetite has not changed but her mood has, thats a possibility .. i saw something on a documentary with Orcas(hear me out, she might be inadvertently be releasing a stress hormone since she probably haven't breed to another male in a very long time) older orcas have been know to come in and out of cycles,sometimes those cycles if incomplete can also cause stress .. *OhioFishRescue* let me know what yall think 😮

    No such thing as a blue garami or gold grimy for that matter they are opaline garamis or three spot garamis same species just different morphs same with the gold ones jacqueline do have blue in them and are a morph of the Opaline Grammy. but no one is going to tell you they may call it a blue garam but it is not a blue garami there's no such thing never existed in the fish world it may look like it may seem like it's blue you may call it blue but it is not a blue garammy there's no such thing As far as species goes is an opa lion or a three-spot karami and I've even seen some yellow or gold opaline or three-spot grammys and they're mean suckers too they're nasty in the fish world they're known to be very very aggressive.
