I’m not sure this really showcases the NI products it features, especially since we never actually hear the finished track in its entirety. However, I really like the way Abayomi explains the choices he’s made. Less off the usual stuff about the sounds and more about the techniques he used to make the track work. He seems to think about production in a very distinct way where it’s much more about the effect he wants the track to have than the sound of the music. Oh and with these themed sound packs/play instruments NI is doing, I really miss the occasions where they’d do playlists that were reflective of the genre they’re highlighting. It’s a shame because I don’t know any of the artists they have enrolled to help create the packs and I’m often not familiar with the genre, so I’m far less likely to be interested. If I have a playlist I can follow I might at least get an idea of what the genre is like. Especially as the projects NI highlights with these packs are less tracks than interesting sketches.
All his tutorials have been amazing.
Great tutorial 👌 💯
Thank you Abayomi!

Hey, thanks so much for the feedback! We’ve touched on some of the artists that inspired this expansion in our blog article here: bit.ly/4cS1a9k
