It will be 2.9 sec in Insanity mode, you will have to pay extra for the Ludicrous mode software upgrade which will make it even faster some saying 2.5-2.6 sec

The acceleration is a big disappointment if it is true it will be 2.9 seconds. I was expecting not 2.5 but somewhere around 2.6 to 2.7 seconds. The good news is that the Ludicrous model looks aggressive as they basically made the front bumper look almost like the older model but without the fog lights, it has better suspension that can be adjusted, has sports seats, and looks amazing. As for FSD, I am in the trial right now on my 2022 Model 3 Performance, and while it is amazing how AI can drive by itself, it is NOT worth $12K. In fact, even the Enhanced Autopilot is NOT worth the $6K. I would pay perhaps $2K to have just the summons and auto-park features, but nothing else. Tesla should consider to provide those as an option, or, provide the monthly subscription option for the Enhanced Autopilot maybe for $99 per month? I bet most Tesla owners would do that one. But since Tesla is always changing their packages and prices, we just have to wait and see how customers react to the FSD trial. Considering how bad the economy is now, I doubt a lot of people will pay $12K, in any case, maybe do the monthly subscription when needed (instead of every month) which I think is NOT what Tesla is looking for.
