  • The 5th Test at The Oval ends in a draw, Australia winning the series 2-1. England score 370 for 8 in their 2nd innings, with Raman Subba Row making a century. Unfortunately we don't see much of this innings, nor Ken Barrington's 83. But we do see plenty of Brian Statham blocking out for a draw. Peter May, in his final Test innings, makes 33 and David Allen scores a determined 42 not out. Brian Johnston then talks to the two captains, Peter May and Richie Benaud. Other commentators heard are Denis Compton, Peter West and Jack Fingleton.
