Thanks for this video. When I checked the gears, the middle screw was moving too much in one direction because of a broken wire to one of the sensors. I did a quick twist of the ends followed by some shrink tubing. Sprayed deoxit on the contacts, straightened them out and now the adjusting screws work like they are supposed to. Hopefully this old garage opener lasts till the summer, unless of course I can still get spare parts. Is there a way to look up the main wiring harness?

I googled model nr of my opener and I found some schematics. Try that

you just replace old board with the new one and swap the cables. It's straight forward swap of components.
